In the same way, Nana is not telling Ghanaians why he left Oxford and came to Legon. Certainly it is not normal for anyone to leave Oxford and come back to Ghana to attend Legon. Something terrible must have happened at Oxford. Yet he is hiding this vital info about himself from the very people he is begging for votes.
I blame Ghanaians for voting blindly, even for people who are hiding their past from you, e.g. Nana is hiding the reasons that led to his expulsion from Oxford. The worst is that Nana is lying he is a lawyer when he has no classmate and no certificate. We saw his performace as the AG: woeful perofrmace and when he started prefering wrong charges Kufuor had to remove him.

Ghana – seen largely as a peaceful country – tops crisis-ridden Libya in a league of countries whose nationals are seeking asylum in 44 industrialised countries.

According to a latest report from the UN’s Refugee Agency, 7,649 Ghanaians as against 6,529 Libyans, despite the North African country seemingly being ungovernable since the fall of Muammar Gaddafi, sought asylum in the West over the last two years.

It is, however, unclear what accounted for the large number of Ghanaians seeking refuge in mainly Europe, but the West African country has had a careworn economy in recent times coupled with worsening power crisis.

Industries are folding up while others are downsizing due to high production cost as a result of the erratic power supply popularly known as ‘dumsor’.

According to the new UN report, about 3,500 people including Ghanaians drowned last year from the 218,000 Africans who used the Mediterranean Sea to cross over to Europe.
