I was in Wa for just two months and I was fed up, frustrated and disappointed at the lawlessness taking place in this young Municipality. The indigenes of Wa itself are not many but they are causing mayhem everywhere. Armed robbery, murders etc. are very rife. I believe the sooner the indigenes of Wa come to their senses the better. Imagine all Doctors running away from the Regional Hospital, what are we going to have?

Nothing is said about this Doctor and nobody knows his status? Dr. Fogor is calling for efforts to help improve security at residential areas.

This situation has existed when the Cuban Medical Brigade fell victim to the canker and that led to an arrangement with the police to provide them with 24 hour security.

Why was the 24-hour security with police cancelled? Did the Medical Authority think that the Doctors, being Ghanaians would not fall victim to the canker?

That kind of arrangement should have persisted till now.

Dr. Amoo Acheampong has been vindicated. According to the report, Dr. Acheampong was burgled less than five days or occupying the bungalow.

Do you expect him to continue working for the thieves?

If you are looking for an excuse to run to Accra, Kumasi, Takoradi.etc. find a better one else brace yourselve for massive robbery because there are more armed robberires in the cities than deprived towns like Wa.

It is true there are armed robbers in all parts of Ghana but Doctors in Accra, Kumasi and Takoradi have not complained of incessant robbery attacks. Neither do we hear doctors in Bolga or Tamale complain they are regular arme ...

Neither do we hear doctors in Bolga or Tamale complain they are regular armed robbery targets. This means that the situation at Wa where MANY doctors are fleeing for dear life has become rather grave. I don't think the doctors are only making up excuses because they do not want to live and work at WA. After all they could have refused to go there in the first place. Obviously, there is an alarming armed robbery situation at Wa that needs to be addressed.
