But if you watched the Video on Otumfuor's Court sitting to adjudicate on the Kumawu Chieftaincy crisis, you would notice that he confirmed a long existing secret truth that Manhyia shares blood with many outsiders, which I learnt, could include Dagombas. So, these fellow Ghanaians may well hold the right to the land in Ashanti as bona fide Citizens, much against your expectations.

They all could be Ashantis, now, despite any clear language and cultural differences.

They dont know the history of Ghana so thought they could use some tribes against others ,not with standing that most of the tribes are interconnected so their agenda and mission is impossible. They even dont know that their dead goat president is a Gonja and Gonjas are members of the Ashanti confederacy. This confederacy consists of 67 paramount chiefs now and more are expected to join but not everyone can be part of it only those who were part before the British came in. They want to preserve their uniqueness, tradition and culture. For you fools who do not know our tradition ask any northerner about their relationship with Ashantis/akans and they will tell you. It stretches even to northern Togo ,Senegal etc Dont bring yourselves if you dont have any history which has made you envy and hate Ashantis for nothing then you have a long way to go because Ashantis a far ahead and you can never catch up.

Just few year after his election, Yaa Naa was killed in a fierce three day battle with 40 others. to attest that the killing was masterminded by Kofour, he failed to provide security and protection for late Yaa Naa in the three day battle. the Yaa Naa and 40 others lives would have been saved, if Kofour had provided security and protection in the second day when the fight started.

I would be scared that a royal of that nature could one day rise to occupy the Golden Stool. Well, that is, if he were eligible for the throne. I am not sure of how he relates to Manhyia. He might be related to Manhyia paternally, in which case my fears are moot. But if he is related to Manhyia maternally, and has any aspirations to occupy the throne one day, those fears are deserving.

Meanwhile, the Otumfuor must ensure de-escalating the situation so that we do not have a replica of the conflict that took the lives of the Ya Naa and 40 others in his family happening in Kumasi.

Dr. Prempeh, Napo, must also learn to keep his huge fists down and out of these matters. He might have gotten away with the allegations that he was instrumental in the death of some NDC boisterous fan not long ago. But what he is involved in now could be much bigger and more damning for him.

Do they just buy these titles for all that it is worth or is it because they happen to have a group of sycophants to shout the loudest??? This I'm sorry to say is the beginning of the end of a noble tradition if we don't stop such a ridiculous practice! A Dagomba Chief can only be crowned in Dagombaland!!
