Ghanaians are so enchanted with English that they perceive speech to common sense. These are the people who can't read between the lines and decipher things for themselves. We are talking about discussing and passing legislation, it is not something we should leave in the hands of illiterates and people who don't respect themselves. THE IMAGE OF GHANA IS MORE IMPORTANT TO SOME OF US THAN THE INTEREST OF ANY POLITICAL PARTY. ILLITERATES DON'T HAVE A PLACE IN PARLIAMENT. THEY DEGRADE IT, AND TAKE EVERY RESPECT IT HAS.
