since the commander is challenging people to mention names i have offered one. why was Asante interdicted last year? why was he brought back? why has the regional crime officer been there for almost ten years? the whole of the crime unit in the UWR is itself a crime on the people of the region. they are just there collecting money and leaving criminals to go scot free. they are fully aware of the activities of the son of BALAWA NAA, and exconvict, in the region. what is Korga, the fulani chief in Wa always doing atthe police station? IGP, your men in Wa are nothing but criminals. you do not act quickly don't blame the people if they go beyond lyching of criminals to start lyching your criminals. We have police contractors in WA now. all a criminal needs is go see them and the person is left loose. these include the leaders of the political parties, regional ministers, DCEs, count them. We need popular action on these people. Aluta!!!!!!!!!!

The fact is that no Police officer want to be transferred to WA, because it is seen as punishment zone, so the police administration should transfer their tribes men in the service to work there, period.

There are two solutions only which will purge Wa of crime and violent crime. The first is a root and branch clear-out out of the police and the judiciary by the Ministers of Interior (via the IGP) and the Attorney-General and the Minister of Justice, respectively. It is an outrage that Stephen Tetteh, Municipal Police Commander, requires proof in names of rotten policemen and women. I know he isn't stupid. So what is it that makes his policeman brain not get that people won't come out in the open (certainly not to the police) and name the bad cops in Wa when people are being killed for reporting violent crime (to the police)? If I tell a story to A and B subsequently assaults me for my story, anyone would've thought that even a toddler would put two and two together and know that B was A in disguise. Why a so-called police leader cannot fathom that is beyond contempt! But, when all is said and done, the people of Wa should hold to account for their safety and security their Municipal Chief Executive and their Member of Parliament. At the Farmers' Day celebration at Kpongu in Wa in December 2013 Rashid Pelpuo, MP for Wa Central, said: "We will not relent in chasing you and ensuring that we nip in the bud this growing impunity that is pervading the constituency. We must stop it and we will pursue you to ensure that you stop it." That was 16 months ago. WHERE IS THE ACTION? The other solution is for the people to rise up en masse in revolt and overthrow the tyranny of the Duku/Tetteh-led Wa police and their lovers/partners (the crime fraternity).
