It is about time attention is paid to the Northern regions. It has been neglected for a long time and this has to change if Ghana is to remain peaceful.

When communities in Ashanti Region are building their own roads you expect the government to provide the North with all that they need.Tell your people to get off their asses and do things for themselves.Lazy people.

The Assemblies of God Hospital is the only hospital in the Saboba District. It is was built with Christian offerings and tithes. It performs major and minor surgeries to their clients domiciled within and outside of Ghana, especially from Togo. It is manned by an American Christian Lady and her husband who have been at post for over 20years despite all the odds. This magnificent Christian edifice, receives referral cases from Yendi, Bimbilla, Zabzugu Tatale, Chereponi, etc. Its clientele are mostly Muslims/Fulanis who will not come to hospital on time but resort to drinking concoctions until their sicknesses reach advanced stage. There is no doubt that this facility which was single-handedly financed with church funds has helped the citizens of Saboba and its surrounding communities.
Now that the Paramount Chief of Saboba is calling for the goverment's assistance to the Assemlies of God Hospital, Muslims will soon domonstrate to demand their rights over that hospital. You wait and see.

Nkrumah's free education made it possible for two of your own to become Presidents of Ghana;

Kuffuor initiated projects to lift the North, only for your own people to squander the money.

Now at the just ended KOYA Congress, Prez Mahama bribed Koya with a tractor and a pick-up and begged them not to raise that issue again and anybody who raises that issue should be stoned to death. He also said "..... government had also earmarked the re -shaping and tarring of the Bimbilla-Salaga, Gambaga-Nakpanduri roads and the re-sealing of portions of the Yendi-Tamale road that were deteriorating."
I don't know why Prez Mahama does not want to give credit to former Prez Kuffuor for constructing that wonderful stretch of Tamale-Yendi road.
