  He is not illiterate as you said just go back and read it again police is advising the owners to install the cameras because of the criminal activities,so read it again.

  Hotels can put cameras in communal areas...ie bar,restaurants,reception,loading bays,and corridors/hallways.No hotel in the world can prevent crime in the bedroom.Cameras at reception will always capture the image of a client ...

  Hotels can put cameras in communal areas...ie bar,restaurants,reception,loading bays,and corridors/hallways.No hotel in the world can prevent crime in the bedroom.Cameras at reception will always capture the image of a client as he/she checks in at reception.Under cover journalists also plant cameras in hotel rooms.It all boils down to what the law says on wire-tapping.Can you record without consent? Even hotels have to display a sign "CCTV IN OPERATION" failure to display this will mean a judge will not accept your footage as an evidence.
