  This is a complete waste of taxpayers' money and a silly drain on the nation's resources. It is purely meant to score political points for the NDC government. Amoateng has suffered enough punishment via his jail time in the USA. Why continue to waste the nation's already overstretched budget on this this relatively minor offence? Can't we use the scarce precious resources on something better?

  Kweku, I think I am with you on this point, although I am generally an NDC sympathizer. We need to use the nation's limited resources more judiciously and stop politicizing everything. It is not fair to drop the case against Nayele Ametefe's cocaine smuggling accomplices and place so much premium on Amoateng's passport forgery episode which pales in comparison to Nayele's.

  All the witnesses are members of NPP. They are deliberately making it difficult for the court in order to get the case thrown out.
