  This calls for co-operation with Burkina Faso to conserve water in the catchment area, and control evaporation from the Black Volta. let us start to do this now so as to avoid a repeat of dumsor in future.

  i think the engineers who been working with the akosombo dam, kpong dam and this new bui dam should be gathered to build more mini dams from the many rivers we have in ghana such as river oti, pra, etc.

  we can't manufacture a hydro turbines for now but our building, civil and construction engineers should be able to equally build the concrete and iron rods aspect of the dam so that govt procures the turbines to be fixed with assistance from the turbines manufacturing company.
  
  sometimes i feel so sad not because am an African but because we black ppl don't ever work hard to solve our own problems.
  
  we have the rivers, we have the engineers, we have the laborers, we have the money to buy turbines so what are we waiting for?
