The president was quoted as saying a year ago that they will continue to borrow. Look at the interest rate levels in the country, how can businesses borrow to invest in their business when interest are over 30%?

With masive developments, very progressive initiatives and great social programs put in place, At the NPP handed over power Ghana's total debt from independence stood at 27 billion Ghana cedis or 9 billio dollars.

Within 6 years and with run aground useless economy only characterized by cruel and crude hardships, the debt is pushed to 75 billion Ghana cedis or 27.5 billion dollars. Debt burden has ballooned 3x and there is nothing to show for all but instead, a very bad economy.

These days he mixes funk economics and law and pours on innocent listeners. I have been studying this Baako for a while and he is a mess impressing people about his old past political events. Why a popular intellectual show like News file allows this dude in appearing every Saturday to force some of us to listen to his baseless debates. I think he fits for the local radio stations with vernacular palm-wine gossip discussions. The opposition party passes on senseless information to him and ask him to make noise with it as they know he doesn't understand most of the stuff. And look at the statements he just stated on the economy without mentioning the projects that the borrowed funds were used for. How can any person in his right mind omit that? The dangerous thing about this guy is he sounds very convincing and likes avoiding change.
