People should demonstrating unconditional loyalty to the party than just trying to take advantage of some sorts of public admiration. You may be good in your field but a significant demonstration of commitment is a requirement here. Better luck next time.

I honestly think Your previous job as a broadcaster was really helping to change things in this country than where you want to be.
So if you really desire to change things and create an impact? then i suggest you go back to your former job as a radio broadcaster.

I will like to use this opportunity to advise all the NDC members and it sympathizers to buckle up to face Nana Akanfuo Buhari Binaddo in 2016 to retire him from Ghana politics entirely. Every NDC members must keep it in mind that , 2016 is a critical year for all of us to work hard to prove ourselves again to Ghana and the entire world that , the 2012 elections is 120% free and fairly , but the Akan's Npp proceeded to Supreme Court with a BOGUS pink sheets to OVER TURN our hard earn VOTE. If this is true that the requirement is for one to have been a paid up member of the (constituency) party for at least two years before becoming eligible to contest the primaries and Mr Oppong Nkrumah did not take time to find out the requirement before making public his intentions, then it very very serious. I though these guys were the people who want to go Parliament to improve Ghana's governance and accountability and yet he fails the barest minimum test of his political life? How could this guy convince voters that he is even suited to be an MP, let alone be a good MP? I hope the story is not true but perhaps the Constituency Chairman is interested in contesting.

However, having said the above, if he was a member of Occupy Ghana that claimed to be non-party political, was he a card bearing member of the NPP and if so for how long?

Oppong Nkrumah is supposed to know when and how to qualify to contest primaries at the constituency level in his constituency! And he is fighting to go and contribute to making laws for Ghana? We need young and dynamic people to go to parliament. If the party(NPP) decides to disqualify him, he may choose to run as an independent candidate. Remember Dr. Tamakloe?
