In 2015 you still keep your your service personnel in a camp like the military do simple because the colonial Gold Coast started this for the convenience of the criminal British colonials who maintained the police as an anti- Africa, anti-independence agitation, easy to mobilize at the sound of a bengal to crush any possible African riot and agitation that would have threatened the settler merchant business.
The police was formed to protect the British merchant class and their businesses hence their seclusion in a camp for anti-Africa brain-washing.

Police personnel supposed to be housed amongst the very people they're policing.

Mr. IGP, you're talking of modernity but as long as you're still camping you guys, you're still deep in colonial STONE-AGE.

The people have more faith in the armed robbers who kill, rob and terrorise them (to spare their lives) than they have in the police (to do anything about their safety and the security of their property). (b)Will the IGP retain the regional and municipal commanders whose inaction has driven the situation to this crisis point in Wa? Will the IGP keep the Regional Crime Officer and those key others who have been in Wa for over five years and are believed now to be in liaison with the criminal fraternities? (c)Does the IGP intend to collate prima facie evidence of police involvement in criminality from the general public? (d)Will the IGP action a mass transfer of the police out of Wa to infuse new blood and fresh oxygen into the poisoned law enforcement situation there? (e)Will the IGP give Wa a DCOP Kofi Boakye clone to take the fight to the murderous scum of the earth who keep the people of Wa in absolute terror?

We need local police that we know and can shame if the get it wrong. We dont want no more police officers who were sacked from other regions.
