We have turned into beggars with choices. When the west refused last year to release their budget support to Ghana because of the bad decisions by this administration, we were left in a bind. We want them to be our financial supporters but they better not try to advise us, that is what Rawlings who relied on them during his administration is telling us. If that is not a hypocrisy, then I don't know the meaning of that word.

Despotic, corrupt and thieving leaders like you Rawlings and Mugabe dotting the African landscape who have run your individual country's economies into the ground despite the riches surrounding you, have made Africa the laughing stock.

So the west will continue to be a thorn in the African flesh until all clueless, thieving and corrupt leaders of Africa change their evil, selfish and corrupt ways and manage our wealth to benefit every single living soul on the continent, which will translate into us not being beggars in the eyes of the west.

As long as we remain beggars, we will always be at their mercy.

If what he referred to as 'colonial arrogance' is true, ask yourself a very pertinent question: what have we done or have been doing as Africans since after colonial rule, to deserve this "colonial arrogance" being thrown in our faces every now and then?
