He gave judgement in our favour (we deserve itthough) and we paid the difference of the BRIBE to him. But with rgards to the GBA being partisan, I disagree with Ayikoi Otoo (defender of the Gbeshie man). What happened to Nii Osah Mills when he went to visit Tsatsu Tsikata in Nsawam Prison?

Therefore the GBA must consider this as an urgent call to reexamine itself in terms of its role as an important structure in Ghana from whom the public expects unbiased, fearless and prompt guidance on relevant matters. An sure the LEARNED friends do not need anyone to preach this message to them. It will be very dissappointing for the GBA to loose its credibility as a non partisan body.

Ever since Akufo-Addo hijacked the GBA to lead it in fighting Kutu Acheampong's idiotic Unigov campaign, the GBA has remained a prominent 'pseudo-neutral' Political Action Committee (PAC) of some sorts for the exclusive interests of the NPP.

We did not see the GBA come out to oppose the "Yen Akanfo de, 'all die be die'" nonsense Akufo-Addo blurted to claim the illusive superiority of Akans over all others as an Ethnicity. Neither did we hear the GBA denounce the blatant instigation by Kennedy Agyapong of Ashantis to kill Gas and Ewes in Kumasi.

And that is all because those imbecilic pronouncements were made by NPP leaders. If those were made by any others, the GBA would have been all over the place throwing its legal weight around as the only repository of Judicial conscience.

Atuguba is right! The GBA must concede the truth, and the rest of us would continue to ignore it as any neutral champion of the Rule of Law or Societal Order.

You might as well say that folks should not criticize bigotry in Ghana because others in the USA wrongly accuse a group of systematic racism. What does that prove in Ghana?

It is the partisan hacks like you who cannot fess up and turn the tables upside down for idiotic equalization. GBA's partisan alliance predates NDC and NPP. So, get a life!

You might be either a loyal member of the GBA with that political slant, or simply one of those NPP members who hate to here anyone point out a flaw with the Party. Either way, I hold nothing back for telling it as it is.

Man is a political animal and at the same time partisan. One example of partisanship is when a Ghanaian supports a foreigner against his own country, though he is well aware that it has negative effect on the country. A citizen of a colonial country who supports the colonialist against his people is partisan. A person who intends to subvert the right of people to universal adult suffrage through the courts does so on blind partisanship.

If ATUGUBA says the bar association is partisan, i believe him. that is why he rendered that verdict on the election petition. he himself is partisan,hence the statement" to you the starters we are not here to annul electoral results. which means, he had already determined his position, even, before the case started.he also could not prove to Ghanaians that Mahama had 50% plus 1 vote yet, he is the president. SO IF HE SAYS THE GBA IS PARTISAN I BELIEVE IT.

We are all witnesses to the sort of arguments and counter arguments by both NDC and NPP over selection of presiding judge to adjudicate the 2012 election petition. Again, we are all witnesses to the disposition of Atuguba which was strongly against NPP throughout petition hearing. So please, Justice William Atuguba give the good people of Ghana a break!
