The position cannot be occupied by people pretending to be apolitical and or tribally neutral because we do not have the qualities in any Ghanaian. It is therefore essential we rely on technological advances to be as accurate and honest as society can be with technological tools and equipment. There are requisite technical and administrative skills that must be basic desired background and not the all too familiar classroom earned credentials in any discipline that has served the EC to unsatisfied customers; past mistakes of mediocrity and poor services cannot and must not stand any longer.
What does Dr. Baah know about the technological aspects of voting machines, data encryption technology and essentials of security applicable to voting and vote collation processes? The EC job is not some abstract classroom centered theory or presumptions; it is at the root of the political discourse in Ghana which gave rise to Dr. Bawumia's attempt to extrapolating his population sampling statistical models to the collation processes during and after the 2012 elections. Ghana surely do not need presumed technical staff at the EC duping managers/government with padded potential purchasing pricing for tools and equipment due to the ignorance of management; we have seen too many of that stealing game.
