We also know that government earn money through sales and or leases of mineral and natural resources to private entities while a consistent bulk of government money come through taxes. These facts seem to elude both learned but partisan hacks and ignorant talkers who buy into the hype.

Who in their right mind would think that a government that gets its money from a banking and or financial institution to use, wisely or mismanage, would by design default on payments if there was enough revenues coming into government coffers? Let Dr. Bawumia and others put it, Ghana never borrowed under the Kufour era and of course the NPP left office with Ghana's national debt standing at zero; how pathetic. People of the NPP elk cannot bring themselves to accept Ghana is not where it should be some 40 years after the overthrow of Nkrumah as a result of their collaborations with foreign interests.

They cannot accept that we are more dependent on foreign assistance than any other time prior to 1966. They sure know how to make excuses and yet I see those very ignorant people using the Accra-Tema motorway, the Akosombo dam and all other structures built during the Nkrumah era. Principled people would stay away from those things accomplished by Nkrumah since he is presumed to represent evil. Those very same people are at it against this current administration even as they help steal and mismanage national funds when they collect their paychecks and associated benefits without work and or earn the right to those monies.

Article 70 (2) of the 1992 constitution states that “the President shall, acting on the advice of his errand boys {Council of State[, appoint the Chairman, Deputy Chairmen and other members of the Electoral Commission”, Those who wrote the constitution were sick and very stupid because how effectively can this council of state appointed by the president himself be bold to advise the president without fear or favour to appoint someone competent,neutral and well versed with electoral laws with no affliction to any political party to be a EC boss, The chances of this happening is zero, The council of state members should have been appointed by independent bodies such as Ghana Bar Association,Christian Council,Muslim Council,National house of chiefs, etc ,StUdent Association,Trade Union etc to serve Ghana These independent bodies should have elected members to the council of state who should have in turn select the EC Boss after a very wide consultation and opening an application process.
As the constitution stands now,Mahama would be very stupid not to appoint anyone who would help him rig the elections.
This aspect of the constitution needs to be rewritten as soon as possible.The constitution must also force EC boss to listen and implement advice and recommendations that comes up after inter party advisory meetings.Until this is done,Elections in Ghana would be far from being fair and credible

What is even worrying is the revelation that the Feb. 17 2015 memo announcing the sanctions and the Mar. 13 2015 memo which did not have Ghana on the list of countries in arrears, interestingly bore the same reference number of FFCO.4/JA/2015.
Something is just not right and it is becoming dangerous for this Mahama NDC gov't which is desperately junketing around the world and the Bretton Woods institutions for some modicum of miniscule credibility on the back of their monumental and humongous lack of credibility on this planet.
The facts just do not lie and clearly the information that was put out there that this Mahama NDC gov't has so mismanaged this country and the economy and finances of Ghana so horribly that, they could not meet their fiduciary and statutory obligations has been laid bare. This is not a party that can govern or knows how to govern and needs to be fired massively at the ballot box in 2016.
