DEMOCRACY is a TERM of ART, It means a particular thing. It means a FREE Prople who have the FREE WILL to ELECT Leaders of their Choosing. Leaders who SUBSCRIBE to the Notion that Public Service is a SACRED PUBLIC TRUST that must be used for the GREATER GOOD of the People and NOT for the NARROW GAIN of a FEW Friends and Relatives.
I am an ARDENT SUPPORTER of Mahama, but in a Country where Just anybody, no matter their qualification os station in life get APPOINTED to Offices they CANNOT HOLD simply because they are the President's Friend or Relative, and they cannot do the work but are still at post while VITAL STATE INTITUTIONS are COLLAPSING, Can Never be said to be a Democracy.

Democratic Governments think about their people and PLACE the BEST of the people in Positions to IMPROVE Outcomes for the MASSES. Leaders of Democracy think about the people and ACT in their BEST INTEREST and do NOT act in the Interest of Friends and Relatives.

What we have is KHAKISTOCRACY, a GOVT that is made up of NOT the best of what the Country has to offer but a Collection of Friends, Relatives, Praise Singers and People who would not be QUALIFIED to Hold the positions they HOLD in Govt. in any Private ENTERPRISE and have NOTHING to OFFER except SYCOPHANCY.

What we have in Ghana today, SADLY, is KHAKISTOCRACY. Mahama, his Friends and Relatives are the Only WINNERS. they are the FEW who LAUGH ALL the Way to the BANK every month while ALL of us, Men and Women, Young and Old Languish in DUMSOR and STRUGGLE to make ENDS MEET. Very SAD, Indeed for a Man that I like very much to CONTRIVE the whole nation into such situation that I have to be this BLUNT about his style of Governance.
