  Why is Ghana tourism chasing the Asian market when it hasn’t even expanded its position with the current tourist market. The lack of tourist infrastructure and a common and joined up (with airport, hotels, local sites, transportation etc) tourist focused strategy means that those already coming for cultural, eco, heritage, fashion and work placed (student gap year working) travel are not being catered for properly. Ghana hasn’t even tapped into this market properly and yet the focus is already drifting. Research your markets properly, because Ghana's tourism is inexperienced and building itself to be sustainable means you need to know why the Asian tourist market would come to Ghana (what would draw them to Ghana).
  
  Let this not be a short term, quick fix, which is why we don’t build sustainable success. Surely (and it’s not about seeing western/diaspora tourists as better than the far east market) it’s better to make sure that you are establishing the current market and making sure you are maximising this fully and then expanding to new markets (when you have a successful template).

  Hey man, ignorant will kill u. The chinese have better infrastructure and even vacant apartment. Besides second world economy.without the chinese, africa as whole gonna be a mess.

  Compared with other countries Ghana can not offer plenty tourist attractions. The infrastructure is bad and the accomodations compared to the standart are overpriced. The few attractions are in a bad condition, and/or are expensive to visite for foreigners. Even they need a Visa they have to order already in their country weeks before journey for a lot of money. Why should visitors come to Ghana, if they could see more, in better condition, with better service, for lower prices, with less action before travelling? If you not learn to do your homework before talking, almost nothing will change for Ghana in the international tourism market. Even many Ghanians do no more believe to the stories they hear day by day, do you think foreigners travelling around the world do?
