Some people are thinking that Ghana is sitting on a bomb shell because of people like LMVCA,Opposition's numerous attacks on government and Pastors who are resort to politics and prohpecy of dooms. These people called themselves "Let My Vote Count but yet supported NPP frivolous petition to annul valid votes cast out.Everything in Ghana has resorted to politics to the point that we can't move as one nation. Appointing EC will always help the government and its party then I don't think NPP would have won two elections in the row. Afari Gyan was appointed by NDC government but yet NPP manage to win. If still some people do not trust the system then that's what we need to talk about but not who to appoint. There is nobody in Ghana today who is neutral not even a single person including the so-called pastors so if our insistence is neutral person to replace EC boss then I don't think the government can find someone who will be accepted by all. We need to find a system which wiil be trusted by all but not an individual. Some people need to think outside the box and leave politics out for a minute. We have been innfested by Politics to the point that even if government appoints Mr.Kofi Annan, some people will have bad omens about him so we should allow the government to do its job and for us we need to ask for a good electoral system that we can trust.

Where was NPP when the constitution was being written? They were on boycot. Now they are crying wolf. Na who cause am? just as the 1992 elections where the 1987 Voters register was used, and many NPP supporters had no vote due to their boycot of the 1987 registration exercise, the voice of NPP would once again be lost in the choice of a new EC boss, because they failed to bring their views to bare on the work of the constituent assembly. It is too late now in the day to change the constitution. The President would choose the new EC boss with advice of Council of State. Are the NPP already beginning to shiver?

We use the term Democracy loosely in Black Africa....in a society where my nephew comes first before merit,where are we going to find one Honest man to take the job?.
