  This is another open demonstration of a weak and incompetent management, analogous to the Mahama led administration. How do they expect to be in business when the management decides to play politics with the very job that gives them their daily bread. They have on two occasions on record, refusing to increase transport fares when fuel and other inputs for their operations have all increased astronomically. Whom were they pleasing? Do they think that the fuel and spares will be given to them free of charge by this government who cannot even meet their statutory obligations to the state.

  This new management obviously lost no time to make sure spare parts were supplied by their very own people. Quality of the parts is not the issue for them, kick backs are.

  The choice of an MD is even wrong. A military pensioner who has already had the best in his past is asked to take over as MD, Why probably he may be an NDC members or something, I don't know.

  Before you go making such an irresponsible statement you must first get your facts straight on VIP. VIP is as delusional as any other business in Ghana except the owners used their connection with government to obtain a non-competitive clause to obtain operator license and certification.
  
  Did the government of Ghana under a centralized planning and development scheme not run public transport systems in every major city with services to small towns in the 1960's? Did such Leyland busses not continue to run even after the 1966 coup through the late 70’s? Ghana simply went to the dogs with voting public that have known nothing but military leaders and a corrupt and hypocritical NPP and NDC parties that have made incompetence the new "it" in Ghana.
