Reported missing by who? My daughter did attach her old passport to the renewal application. She had previously travelled to the UK twice and had those visas in the old passport. We hope her details are not being used by some drug baron.

Madam minister, i humble think the better solution to decongest the passport office is for your office to make provisional for Ghanaian to be able to renew his/her passport online/or through the banks. i do not see the reason why applicant has to visit the passport office to queue or even buy another form before before renewal. every passport has a unique number, once the person make the renewal payment at the banks, it should be able to reflect at the passport office. the renewal can be done then appointment date for the pick up can be communicated to the applicant. To be frank there is no orderliness at the passport office. is just a cocoa farm some scrupulous people to make money. Passport office should be restructure madam minister.

Hon. if we didn't integrate it and expand the expiring date to highest level(10 years) we will still have the same problem. how come we cannot produce much passport book and has made the expiring years for just five years. secondly the way the receive the application form too is the not the best the fair man will come just sacking people because of just profession for 4 year old just to allow the parent to write minor and submit the form, the man will sack you go and come the next day what country are we living.so it better we expand the expiring date and if we can give have a way where you will fill some of the basic information online and print it for approval before taking the bio data. It a shame to us all they have been travel so they dont learn anything from it.

The officials have created a fertile ground by allocating only 2 days to deal with its citizens making the local staff who have turned themselves into a mafia to charge £400.It is impossible to get an appointment and it takes 4 to 6 weeks to process a passport. The whole place need a clean up.
