We need to explore the affordability of solar power and encourage such initiatives to spread its use. Solar has not really caught on because it is not widely available, and it is deemed to be too expensive upfront. Our research institutions should be looking to developing generation of solar energy and making it cheaper and affordable. We have abundant sunshine all year round. Let us make use of this natural resource.
