A country with 25 million population has about 11 million people voting? That is like 40 percent of the whole people voting. We have 15 million registered voters, that is 60 percent of of the population registered as voters, how is that possible when people under the age of 18 are 45 percent of the population? We should not forget that even all qualified voters do not register to vote so how did Ghana manage to have 60 percent of its population as registered voters?

Let's look at the just conducted election in Nigeria that will clearly shows that our voters register is bloated.

Nigeria with a population of 170 million has 56 million registered voters, that is like 32 percent of the population unlike Ghana where the registered voters is 60 percent of the population.

Of the 56 million registered voters in Nigeria, 26 million voted during the 2015 Presidential election, that is about 45 percent of the registered voters voted, in Ghana, close to 60 percent of the registered voters voted.

This clearly shows that children who were not qualified to vote voted in the 2012 elections and the opposition parties should not allow the present voters register to be used for the 2016 elections.

As reality began to set in, Akufo-Addo was hearing from his supporters that Buhari won in Nigeria by working with other opposition parties, and again Akufo-Addo jumped on that idea. This is the same Akufo-Addo who was bribing people in the NPP when the NPP was conducting its elections to pick a flag-bearer. Poor Bribehene Akufo-Addo desperately wants to be President, and is resorting to desperate actions to accomplish that goal. Nduom sold his soul to the NPP a long time ago when he turned his back on the CPP that helped make him a household name in Ghana, so nothing is new with his cooperation with Akufo-Addo. The recent rantings of Nduom about "dumsor", the new Akufo-Addo campaign battle song, is an indication that Nduom has again renewed his contract with the NPP. Ghanaians are not about to hand the reigns of the nation over to a clueless and vision-less Akufo-Addo and his team of divisive hate-mongers, so these latest attempts at making deals with other opposition parties are fruitless measures that cannot prevent serial loser Akufo-Addo from experiencing another defeat in 2016.

The CPP will cease to exist if the top brass decides to enter into any alliance with the NPP with the view to ousting the NDC government of Mahama.It will be a betrayal of the party and Osagyefo and i believe strongly that the majority of CPP members will not accept any alliance with the Danquah/Busia group which was responsible for the ousting of the CPP from power,seizing its assets and banning its members from holding public offices.What has the CPP got in common with the Danquah/Busia political tradition?Those CPP members contemplating letting the CPP join the NPP to remove Mahama from power must think twice.

This would avoid stelling and mishandleing of document involve in the election as well as reducing the spoiled or rejected billot papers.
