The start witness in the case decided just two weeks after the reported incident that she was no more interested in pursuing the case, but the state vowed they would not relent because they had a good case and a good chance of putting someone behind bars for doing no wrong! As if increasing the prison population was an achievement to aim for. Any ordinary kookooase lawyer could tell that without the main witness, there was no case to pursue. Little wonder that girl in Takoradi decided to take the whole nation for a ride by feigning her own kidnapping and assault and publicizing her self inflicted ordeal.
