Ghana would have been an Arpatheid country had it not been our honest forefathers. What do we see now losing our culture, copying the pigs from America and Europe thinking their ways of life is the best forgeting that the pigs are the demons on this world.

They use to buy what is called cathecat(pardon my spelling) on their own at gh¢ 3 and send it to the hospital for treatment.one day, patients who went there for their treatment with it were told that the doctors no longer want to use the ones they(patients) are bringing and that some doctors have imported some of it and now selling at gh¢35. And that need to be changed every 3 weeks.how can doctors be making profits from someone's predicament. Is that fair to ordinary citizens who don't have money for their treatments?

Ghana we knew is completed gone and gone. The whole military hospital has no more strict ethics and command at to work? Ghanaian workers have become power unto themselves and do what ever pleases them, time to report to work and time to say I have had enough for the day and just walk home without any questioning, warning or reprimanding.
Seriously, the country has become like a home without a father in control, simply no leadership and putting our lives in avoidable danger.
The family of the deceased should supported by generous legal team to sue the individual driver and the hospital for negligent of responsibility.

That the health sector in Ghana is filthy corrupt, marred with indiscipline and illegalities is an understatement. This is just another good example to buttress the fact that the health sector is being let down by people at the helm of affairs who are just interested in selfish gains at the expense of the nation and tax payer.Come to think about it how on earth can an ambulance driver, the key man of any serious emergency response team of a major health facility confidently abandon his duty post with impunity. This is a major indictment on the hospital management and its Board of Directors.A worse scenario however was the one at Effia Nkwanta in which a patient by name Patient Sakpetey died because she could not pay a bribe of 50 ghana cedis for blood transfusion. The worker at the blood bank of the hospital held onto the blood compelling the deceased relatives to go to town in search of the money to pay for the blood and by the time they returned with the money the patient was gone. When the case was published in the News Papers the Medical Director of the hospital surprisingly accused the doctor on duty at the casualty of leaking information to the media to tarnish the image of the hospital. The Medical Director Dr Ntodi then proceeded to expel the doctor from work in connivance with the Regional Health Directorate. The doctor took his case to CHRAJ, western region and won compelling the Dr Ntodi to reinstate him.Incensed by this Dr Ntodi vowed to have the doctor sacked by the Ghana Health Service if he does not leave the hospital.Whiles the Ghana Health Service called for the patient's folder for study at its headquarters no disciplinary action was instituted against the lab technician whose illegal act led to the death of the teenager.Dr Ntodi in bed with Linda Vanotoo the Regional Director conspired with corrupt elements at GHS headquarters to eventually get the doctor sacked. The doctor was deliberately implicated with a mental illness and illegally sacked through an indefinite suspension using same.A letter signed by the Director General Dr Ebenezah Appiah Denkyira claimed the doctor was suffering from a 'possible delusional condition' and his sacking through an indefinite suspension was because of his failure to come for a compulsory assessment and treatment. The 'possible delusional condition' was a fiction of the Chief Psychiatrist imagination Dr Akwasi Osei as the doctor never presented himself to the Medical Board instituted by the Chief Psychiatrist in a conspiracy to victimize him to cover up the scandal at Effia Nkwanta that led to the death of the teenage. It was an action in solidarity with Dr Ntodi who initially vowed to have the doctor sacked despite doing all the wrong things as the Medical Director of a Regional hospital. It also points to the fact that corruption in the health sector is big and complex one involving top men who are supposed to ensure structures function to avoid needless embarrassment of this sort.Massive institutional failure in Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital mirrored Ghana Health Service headquarters why because nepotism, cronyism, dirty politics, corruption, power lust, power struggle, avid greed and self aggrandizement gave way to competence, responsibility, professionalism and ethics in Health practice. In Effia Nkwanta for example Nurses and other staff frequently usurped the powers of doctors and often refused others because so-called big men often had amorous relationship with them. The head of management have their sense of judgement polluted and blinded by their sexual desires and erotic urges with the privileged female staff and nurses in particular choosing which doctor should work in the hospital and who should not.The behavior of the Ambulance driver only lends credence to the fact that the health sector is chaotic, corrupt and indiscipline with people in position of responsibility sitting aloof because every single action is geared towards parochial interest and self aggrandizement at the expense of the poor tax payer to damn national interest. Most public health institutions in this country are more or less private corperate entities with politics, cronyism, nepotism, boot licking, sycophancy and sexual favors determining who should be in the good book or bad book of the autocratic boss who can use his or her links with corrupt elements at the helm of affairs to destroy perceived opponents. There is no reward for hard working ,committed ,responsible and discipline staff in Ghana's public health sector as far as you are not part of the corruption machinery under the auspices of top men siphoning the nation. If a doctor can be turned a scapegoat by been slapped with a mental illness and sacked with the lab man whose scandalous and inhuman act of withholding blood to kill a patient still at post then there is a very big problem with Ghana's health services and that is the hierarchy of the health services itself who seem to condone and connive corruption.I will not be surprised if the Ambulance driver is left off the hook if in the 'good book' and camp of the top man despite this reckless and irresponsible act. After all it is free for all system in which naked corruption and aggressive pursuit of wealth is the order of the day in public health institutions.Any 'loud mouth' who talks about it will be suppressed through the sack to enforce a culture of silence and fear by the corruption machinery controlled by the top mafia. You even be denied justice in court because the system will try to cover the high profile public servants and politicians deeply involved in the rot knowing very well they have erred.

They are all not law abiding including the leaders. It is the law of the jungle, survival of the fittest. Why do you think all the "Mahamas" are millionaires? If 37 military hospital can not handle a maternal emergency then was the patient referred early ? considering with all the traffic in Ghana it will take well over 1 hour to transfer the patient did the patient die within a one hour period ?if yes then the clinical decision to transfer patient was even late and so more than the driver needs to be held accountable. Did the woman seek help early or was it one of the late comers who shows up when the harm has already been done and yet somebody has to bear their irresponsibility. This should be looked at with critical thinking and not just emotions or its going to happen again.
