Bagbin you are the Majority Leader, Ghanaians voted for the NDC because they want their lifes to be better. You see and know and infact the President knows and the whole NDC knows that for the role Ebo Barton Oduro played in the Judgement debt saga he himself must the full rigours of the law and yet the President and his NDC made him First Deputy Speaker of Parliament. If this President cares about fighting corruption, if the NDC cares about fighting corruption this would never be having that position in Parliament. But the NDC taking Ghanaians for fools will unleash their children with sharp teeth to defend every silly thing. Useless and incompetent and corrupt NDC government.

Do you remember some time in the 1990s, a court case involving a journalist, George Nakene, and the state during the Rawlings NDC Administration? The presiding Judge ruled against the journalist saying "The truth does not matter". Apparently the Rawlings administration had misquoted a Dr Busia speech and George went to the National Archives, retrieved the speech and published what Busia actually said. The embarassed administration also went to the National Archives, took out page 10 of Busia's speech where the contention was, re-typed it with the correction made to justify their false claim. Remember the time lapse was sbout 30 years so the re-typed page 10 alone had a different typing sheet from the rest and a different type-writer setting. It was so obvious a change had hurriedly been made to the speech but the judge for whatever reason said"The truth does not matter"and sentenced the journalist to a jail term.
This P/NDC bunch of politicians have adversely affected not just politics but has pioneered a steady moral degeneration in Ghana that do not spare even judges. Whenever I ponder over it I weep for this nation. It's very scary because no one knows when this is all going to end. The truth does not matter in Ghana any more.

I am not sure if it was introduced by the PNDC. It's been with us for centuries though as the the nation ages, it gets worst.

May I ask you a personal question? Is your name also written as Abrompa and what does it mean? I ask because though I am twin but because my twin brother died, I became the third of 3 boys. That meant I was Mensah though except my father no one ever called me by that name. Occasionally, my father would call be Mensah Abrompa with some words appellations that I never understood as a child.
