Why is it that any minister or important person asked to give a speech most always let someone else to give the speech on their behalf?
Why do we allowed this negative trend to become a fashion to prove how important we are.

To be asked to give a speech is an honor, and that means one's experience and love of something peculiar about the person is what those who asked you to speak wants you to bear and impact it to the listeners and the way you deliver it through your body language and the emotions -the vehicle- creates an aura that hit people to heed to your call.
This is a spiritual psychology and Ghanaians had lost the wisdom to know it..

These graduates who will be messing with our money deserve the ministers presence who is telling them in a written statement to sacrifice when she herself could NOT sacrifice to be there to preach what she wrote. Or DID SOMEONE ELSE WROTE THAT TOO FOR HER?

When Steve Jobb gave a speech at Stanford and asked the students to give service to mankind and do what will give them pleasure, most students heeded the call latter on we learned.
One graduate in the crowd that eventful day would moved to the impoverished parts of India to make an impart to the lives of the damned over there.
IF STEVE JOBB HAD DELIGATED, OUTSOURCED THE SPEEH to some one else who did not relate to the life experience of Steve, it wouldn't have moved even a fly.
To move people to do something for humanity is a science that has a spiritual undertone - ( call it wisdom) - to it and Ghanaian leaders have been lacking it for sometime now.

Yes John I agree with you. I haven't checked but I can almost swear that by ratio, we continue to churn out more professionals and graduates of various categories than most other countries. However a casual look at prevailing conditions in the public domain gives one the sad impression that our educational system stops at the secondary level.

I have ceased to pay any heed to tertiary education in this country. It seems like people just acquire certificates and degrees by any means possible only just to enable them escape from their own conditions of poverty and project them into middle-class status. That's about it. The rest of the story is a nightmare.

We have all sorts of accountants parading under all sorts alphabets attached to their names, but yet, under their very noses corruption , graft and vice thrive unrestrained. It is so bad that I can almost ascertain that the very institution that has just passed these young accountants out is itself embroiled in one kind of graft or another.

Again, it seems that another reason why our young people acquire these professional qualifications is to master the subject only so that they can dribble everybody and quietly make a cool pile of cash on the blind side of their institutions.

But can you blame them? If the highest authorities are setting the pace by brazenly creating, looting and sharing, would they not follow their example?

I do agree with you to some extent;but there are abundance of non-professionals who are very witty,full of wisdom and competent more than those with all the decorative titles.We could also seek for their contributions.
