I think when you people are talking you forget about most of your people living in akanlands who even don't want their dead bodies in your region. But they have successful industrialists which you lacked and that made you hate them because they hard working and rich but you steal to be rich. Everybody in the world knows Ashantis are industrious hence their market is the biggest in west Africa and their economy is booming. Do you have that ? So who hate who? Choosing Dzamefe, a native of the region that has won the accolade as the world bank of the ruling NDC to be chairman of the EC is not only a dumb idea but insane.A very significant portion of the population was poked in the eye following the damning revelations of complicity and incompetence exhibited by the EC chairman and his staff during the 2012 election petition hearings at the Supreme Court and the court's tainted verdict. The arrogance of power and alleged ties to the NDC has marred what was destined to be an illustrious career of the outgoing chairman who happens to come from another region that votes with the herd mentality for the NDC.
The President is empowered by the constitution to choose Afari Gyan's successor but is he going to make the choice in favor of his partisan interest or he's going to choose as a president who serves the interests of all Ghanaians? Is John Mahama the president of one half of the nation or the entire nation? If he decides to listen to his political base in making the choice then he must be prepared to take ownership of any unpleasant consequences that may arise from the choice he makes. The entire nation is watching and it'd be interesting to know how he reacts under pressure and how he wants to be remembered as a former president. Over to you, President. The world is watching.

Ghana needs leaders, managers, clergies etc., who can use their analytical thinking and intellect otherwise it will take a long time to develop Ghana.
