Never again these self promotions and propagandas . Mahama is a mass destructive, a manipulator,capable of destroying every single heritage. Building schools , roads and hospitals in a community are no achievements by a government but an obligation for a government. This is also meaningless if these obligations are not extended to all communities in the country. The regional showcase exbihitionism that discourages regional development must stop ! The Chief of Dunkwa, Nana Obeng Nuakoh III has expressed fear of the imminent collapse of the bridge spanning the Offin River at Dunkwa on Offin, if no steps are taken to save it.
Nana Nuako noted that since it was constructed by Astaden Construction Company in 1935, it has not seen any maintenance work and that if immediate action is not taken, transport services from Kumasi to Dunkwa and beyond will break down.
According to him, the road network has not been properly maintained over the years and noted that even though it is being rumoured that the construction of the road from Anwiamnkwanta to the bridge has been awarded on contract, but no concrete evidence is known.
The chief said the maintenance of that stretch of road had been left out by successive governments, leading to its deterioration over the years and called for its rehabilitation without any further delay
The Dunkwahene also appealed to the authorities concerned to help with the rehabilitation of Dunkwa Township roads, since residents are contracting respiratory diseases from the dusty nature of the roads.

My first problem is who lauds the President? One should be mindful that Upper Denkyira have got leaders such as the traditional rulers, MPs, opinion leaders and various associations with developmental interest. At what forum was the President lauded, and which of these aforementioned leaders lauded the President on behalf of the whole area.
I wish I get to know who the Joshua Kweku Amissah is, and where Mr Kwesi Dawood is.
Let me set the record straight that Upper Denkyira East roads are that from Dunkwa to the following areas; Ayanfuri, Kyekyewere-Awisam, Asikuma-Praso and Obuasi. Who can tell me that these roads are being graded or re-gravelled, let alone bitumen surfacing. it is really disheartening to have such a false story published for the whole wide world to read. Born and bred and worked in the municipality, I can vividly say that the area has experienced the ever bad roads in recent times, with no exception of the roads within Dunkwa township.
I will only be brief on the other things like electrification. We are all aware of the energy crises the nation is facing so I will only term it as extending poles and cables not electricity to the areas the MCE mentioned mentioned.
For Joshua, I will spare him for his ignorance of energy management; and for Mr Dawood and the MCE, I only feel sad for them for being propagandists.
If it's Kyekyewere township, the hometown of the MCE which lauded the president fine but should specific in this case than portraying a picture to represent a general opininion of the good people of the Upper Denkyira.
