NPP should know by now that elections are won at the Polling Stations. Ballot Papers are counted in the open and signed by party representatives at the polling stations. If this is the case, why are they worried about the appointment of Electoral Commissioner who sits in his office and only fed with the results emanating from the polling stations and signed by their representatives?
At the Supreme Court, they did not contest on the number of votes counted at the polling stations, but thought the could rely on arithmetical errors on the so called PINK SHEETS and unsigned pink sheets by presiding officers although all their representatives at the polling stations had signed on declaration forms attesting that the number of votes given to Nana Akufo Addo were correct. THE NPP IS PREPARING THE GROUND TO MAKE NOISE BY BLAMING THE NEW ELECTORAL COMMISSIONER BECAUSE THEY KNOW THEY WILL LOSE THE 2016 ELECTIONS. NATION WRECKERS!

I think the highly intelligent and accomplished Professor of Political Science has raised a very, very important issue at the very core of the sustainability and entrenchment of our democracy moving forward as a nation and the issues clearly has a lot of merit.
So one begins to ask, where did Asiedu Nketia who apparently seems to be aware of this shortlisted candidates, get it from? Where did the consultation take place? When did the consultation by the Council of State take place? How did the Council of State come by that advice to shortlist those candidates? How did the Council of State decide on those shortlisted candidates? When was this done and by who?
Asiedu Nketia should be decent, should be decorous as an adult. Ghanaians appreciate the fact that he's undergoing some "transition" but that does not mean, he should be talking sooo loosely. So instead of Asiedu Nketia making a striking fool of himself, it would serve all Ghanaians well to address the issues raised by the good Professor, and speak to those matters.
Where is that supposed shortlist coming from and who is pushing that list? On what advice did the Council of State come by that list and how did it come by it?
By the way, is Johnson Asiedu Nketia in any way related to Cecelia Johnson, the Chairperson of the Council of State?

We all know that because of collusion amongst people, uprooting corruption in society has always been impossible.

Neither Man nor Government can fight corruption successfully, especially in Ghana.

The only sure way to do so therefore is to resort to the SPIRITUAL means.

All we need to do is to start fighting corruption from the top and it will transcend to everyone in the country within a few months.

How do we accomplish this?

Whenever we swear in Politicians, Board Members and Senior Management of Parastatals, or any High Level Government Officials in the Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs), we should make sure as part of the oath of allegiance they swear to will include:

(1) A BLESSING to these individuals and their families if they perform genuinely and diligently as if, to quote Mr. Mahama, "such institutions they manage or oversee belong to their fathers".

(2) At the same time, there is a need to insert a section within the same oath of allegiance on bringing a CURSE to these same people and their families, and even from generation to generation if they ever amass wealth through corruption during the period of their public service.

What the Government can therefore do is to modify those oath of allegiances slightly to reflect these proposals and I can assure you that, Ghana will surpass even Singapore in her development within months and not even in years.

I detected this flaw in his speaking of english during the 2012 election dispute and thought of possible tension in an unfamiliar environment, but his attack on Prof. Oquaye has shown clearly that asisedu nketiah can not read and understand the english language better, in that I do not see the import of his arguement, because Prof. and what he said has nothing to do with him trying to suggest that the President should not follow due process enshrined in the constitution and is advicing that there should be broader consultations and even asked that those names should be ignored and you call him a confused old man?. Good people of Ghana do not take this mosquito guy serious so that we will not be swade by his spewing of venom and we will not be led astray since a drowning man will grab a straw for survival. He is well noted for ''kwasia bi nti'' mantra. This is an advice.

In the first place, if you all agreed on the need for "broader and wider consultation" to avoid any accusation of favoritism on the part of the Mahama government in the selection of the EC Chairman, why was the agreed upon process all of a sudden changed? and, when Dr. Ocquaye questioned it, you've got the audacity to talk trash to describe him.
