Bawumia should never have accepted the position he is in now, because it belittles him and which part of the country he comes from. What I think is that the working people of present day Ghana have never had it so good, where it comes to the ordinary security of the individual. In the NPP years if you called the police to come to your aid, you were asked to send a Taxi to come and get Police protection. Where it comes to corruption, it has existed before this present government, and whilst NPP government was in power, they did nothing about it. President Kufour left office giving himself all kinds of awards and demanding an arm and a leg for his services to our own Nation Ghana..... for What? It is the duty of every Ghanaian to help build the country for the next generation selflessly, not demanding compensation. Hope forward thinking Ghanaians will see the light no matter what propaganda is being spewed by the predominantly AKAN Press. Long live Ghana.

Nana, you may be doing what you ought to do to win votes come 2016; but it's important that you demonstrate honesty and fairness in the game. Was the economy not as hard under the NPP administration to the extent that you (I mean the NPP) had to sell Ghana Telecom in order to be able to pay salaries? Was there no power crisis under the NPP administration? Was it not an NPP minister of Energy who, in response to the said difficulty bought some generators into the system which were described by one of your own as 'toys'? Was it not the at that same time that , in answer to the same problem the NPP government introduced the energy saving bulbs? What about corruption? Were there no issues of corruption under the NPP? Remember the kick backs? What about the famous ' the money is coming in waa waa waa'? Remember the mango seedlings issue? What about the use of state money to repair Kufour's house and the Brong Ahafo farmer's 'return' of same when the nation was up in arms? Remember the Dr. Anane case?. Why was president Kufour usually calling on Ghanaians to 'bite the bullet' except that times were hard? All this while you did not make a public statement against your own? Did the suffering of the Ghanaian people not matter to you then? Why? Because your party was governing? You are concerned now only because your party is not in office? Remember , one of the oaths a president elect takes on being sworn in enjoins him to do good to all manner of people. Given your open unfairness to President Mahama and his administration in the criticism you give and your bias in favour of your party, should you win the election , you'll be taking that oath only as a formality and no more. Admittedly, there are problems but you and your party appear to make it look like Ghana is worse than hell. With the greatest respect this is not the case. Just as you sought the patience of Ghanaians by your constant refrain to 'bite the billet' so must you be patient as the president and his team find answers to the difficulties. In eight years the NPP couldn't fix the power problem. What makes you think he should do it in less than four years? Nana and the NPP, Ghana belongs to all of us. Let us be fair and kind to her.
