How can a government increase tax rate when the economy is shrinking? Only stupid economists will approve of this policy that can collapse industries. NDC is doing all these because they know, come what may, they will win the elections by manipulating the EC.

And the reason is that Ghana borrows to consume and not to invest as you external lenders would want. It is your principal condition for extension of loans. The benefit to you is that we are permanently dependent on your loans. We Nkrumaist know your kind and interest. Nkrumah said it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a colonialist to give sound advise to a post colonial economy. Again Boko Haram in Akyem terrorized Muslim women for buying food from Christians yet the IGP(a Gonja Muslim) kept mute and Mahama was happy because that follows OIC's demands. Muslims burnt down a Christian mission house in Atebubu yet the IGP was again silent and Mahama never saw anything wrong with that. When Muslim youth went on demonstration demanding religious rights in missionary schools that one attracts sympathy from Prez Mahama. AMA banning churches in classrooms, Northern Regional Minister accusing the Christian clergy of encouraging politicians to be corrupt. These are all plans aimed at suppressing Christianity to please the OIC. These are all indicators that Mahama is feverishly handing over Ghana to the Organisation of Islamic Conference for Money. We should remember Islam is useless without direct state support and so Mahama is providing that support to Muslims to grow in Ghana whilst at the same time suppressing Christians. He is also doing this because Islam as a religion is useless without direct political/government intervention.

Alhaji Aliu Mahama didn't take anything belonging to the state and never lied to the state but when John Mahama was the vice president he created corruption in the STX Korea, and then there was an investigation on him about a plane for the Ghana armed forces by President Mills who made him his vice president. Rather let her say that this government has used proceeds from the sale of cocoa to build hospitals, buy medical equipment, etc, let her show us this government is using OUR OWN HARD EARNED money to build roads, bridges, etc instead of borrowed monenies thereby increasing our deficits and debts. Does she experience dum sor, does she watch more and more people packing their cars and taking dangerous public transport because the buses are poorly maintained, does she see more and more little childre having to find their way to school on their own because both parents or a single parent had to leave home early to look for food and money for the evening.
She should not take Ghanaians for fools, please. If she wants her bank to gain points with the Mahama government, she should put a good proposal before them on how to stash their money or something else but she should not come and talk about our econom, pleas. Where will our children work when they finish school, not all of us can afford to buy citizenships and houses in foreign countries for our children to start their adult lives.
