  It is very sad and pathetic to see the extent to which Ghana has degenerated and retrogressed into tribal politics. Lima was a president for just 2 years and Mahatma has been president for three years. How does a total of five years under northern leadership outweigh the remaining 52 years under southern leadership? Have people decided to use their basic and secondary school education as toilet paper? Anyway it is the individual that counts not where he goes from. Not all southerners are coup makers even though a northerner had never taken over the country through the gun. Not all southerners are poor managers of the economy even though no northerner has been president long enough to establish their own track record but have inherited the damage and good of other presidents. No single Ghana in can take the credit for all the good things in Ghana but we are happy to give all the bad things that have happened on northern presidents and northerners. All those who are hiding behind the Internet and political parties to instigate these divisive tribal sentiments should know that they will reap what they sow. The problem is that the calamity it will cause will swallow all of us. Stop this anti northern nonsense now. And focus on the qualities of the candidates in their personal and professional lives. It is only then that you will know how they will behave in public office. Open your eyes, keep your mouths closed, tune your ears and engage your brain then things will become clear.
