  It is corruption. Get some entrapment as a building, give it a name like johny college, go to KNUST and pay and ditto you are affliated!

AT PRESENT THE NON-TECHNOLOGY COURSES IN KNUST OUTNUMBER THE TECHNOLOGY ONES. ARE WE SERIOUS? AND BY THE WAY, WHAT CRITERIA IS USED FOR THESE PARTNERSHIPS? ANY MUSHROOM COLLEGE, FINDS A WAY TO PARTNER WITH KNUST AND START ISSUING MUSHROOM CERTIFICATES WITH ABANDON. WHAT A MESS OF A COUNTRY.

  UST was set up to be a technology driven academic utopia with ability to train future brains on solving our practical problems.
  How is it that a whole school of Pharmacy cannot compound a tablet of APC affordable enough to treat common headaches? The school of agriculture and agric engineering over the years cannot transform our rich lands to abundant food to feed the population of Ghana?
  I will not talk about the school of engineering! And now they are adding non-technology courses?
  Our President Kwame Nkruma will be turning in his grave for all the mis-management in our Ghana today!

  KNUST failed to rusticate and report to the police a female student who beat up her roommate; the lecturers have been bought. It has been said that many lecturers lack teaching methodologies. What should be the minimum requirement in recruiting lecturers into a tertiary institution? Is it a masters degree or a PhD with a course in education??
  
  Professors in tertiary institutions must read GES directives. There are many important and useful GES directives which would help them.
  
  GES banned all forms of corporal punishment in Educational institutions but there are reports that some tertiary institutions are still carrying out this practice. Asking students to kneel down and so on.
  
  Lecturers in tertiary institutions must recognize the fact that students in these institution are adults.
