But if you have the slightest feeling that the story could have some truth to it, then you better start doing your part to eliminate that animus from within the NPP before it costs the Party the 2016 Elections. Resorting name-calling of the Reporters would not help the NPP.

Did he genuinely try to stop all the incessant attacks on President Kufuor and his close Associates that were included in those attacks?

Meanwhile, if Akufo-Addo were as much liked by the Electorate as his supporters have always claimed, you would not be bothered by whatever Afoko and Agyapong do in the NPP leadership, especially, with the Flagbearership already in his pocket.

If, you know, however, that Akufo-Addo is only riding on the crest of thin, transient wave of bloated popularity, then you would be best advised to have him do more to win the Electorate over, instead of fighting this silent, proxy War with President Kufuor and Alan, via Afoko and Agyapong.

We have, for a long time, admonished the twice-defeated Presidential candidate to be more proactive in trying to heal any rift between the two factions of his and Kufuor's, and also, present a genuine apology to the Nation on his 'Yen Akanfo de..all die be die' mantra. But he and his camp ignored such a sincere, constructive advice for all these years till only recently when it has been reported that he claims to have regretted those remarks.

Unfortunately, that 'mia culpa' has not even been given as much publicity as is needed to effectively mend the harm those remarks caused. Akufo-Addo has always relied on his minions to voice his opinions, while he remains mute over issues that people wanted him to talk about personally.

His silence often conveys the message that he either supports all that his subordinates have been peddling around, or he did not care at all. The Public would have forgiven him long ago, if he had taken the initiative to show his remorse for those hurtful, bigoted remarks.

Then, also, he never took the initiative as the Party's nominal leader to chastise the dangerous divisive bigoted instigation by Kennedy Agyapong and Osafo Marfo. That further testified to many that he shares similar sentiments and opinions about the people offended.

So, it is Akufo-Addo and his camp that have a lot to do to patch up the chasm they themselves caused in the NPP. If you have anything to offer to help, direct it more to that faction of NPP.

The NDC has gone so low. The are also playing on peoples fears which are unfounded. Typical stories ranges from NPP are are Akan party, elitist etc.

If you listen to arguments of Asiedu Nketia the NDC general secetary et al you would vomit. Personal attacks, playing to the gallery,deceit etc. It beggars belief. They know the majority of the electtorate are not sophisticated. They exploit our ethnic make up and knowing that in the distant past we were not a country and everybody tended to band with his or her ethnic group they exploit our diffrences.
We have decided to come together and form a nation so ethnocentrism should be a thing of the past. All attempts should be done to obliterate this canker to foster unity.
The NDC thinks otherwise because they use it as a weapon to come to catapulate themselves to power. But they are the first to tag other rival political parties especially the NPP as ethnocentric. This is hyporcacy at its best.

Ghanaians should know that the Akan make up 50 percnt of the population and because they are in the majority and speak one language this demographic feature will be with us if not foreve so we have to accept this just like our colour. What we need to do is to promote equity and fairness in the sharing of our national cakes, bridging the gap between the historical gap between the north and south which goes back as far as the Trans Saharan Trade.

Minority groups in the country should not allow themselves to be used by politcians who after themselves only. When will they see the light. They always buy into this conspiracy theories by voting the NDC who cannot improve the fortunes of Ghanaians. The NDC can rule for 100 yeras but however much the rule they cannot do very much for Ghana with people like Asiedu Nketia in power. Look we are part of the global village. Until we rise above all these dirty politcs based on lies whipping up ethnocentriism we will get no where.

Akufo-Addo's paranoia with Afoko and Agyapong is baseless, and could be the cause of his own third-time failure to win the Presidency.

There is nothing much both men could do to sabotage Akufo-Addo, should he just concentrate on winning the larger Electorate, instead of wasting time fighting these men out of sheer unjustified suspicions.

The NPP Presidential candidate must look closer around him or within himself to identify the causes for his previous failures, and not keep looking elsewhere to lay the blame. He is acting like he never made any mistakes that could cause him the 2 defeats he suffered in the past. He sees himself as too much loved by the Electorate that only some sabotage from within his own Party could have caused his defeats. He has not come to terms with his own shortfalls, prominently featuring the bigoted mantra of "Yen Akanfo de, .. 'all die be die'" that scared many voters away. So long as the NPP flagbearer fails to correctly diagnose the causes of his failure in the past, he would most likely repeat the same errors again and crush for the third time. He must not be witch-hunting for any potential saboteurs outside his own circle. It is sad that he has, from the very beginning, targeted Afoko and Agyapong for such disdainful surveillance.

How would Afoko and Agyapong sabotage Akufo-Addo, if the Presidential candidate were to coordinate with them on all aspects of his campaign? The two would surely not secretly talk to voters to reject Akufo-Addo. Neither could they withhold any Party Contributions towards the promotion of the candidate's campaign.

So, why make an issue out of nothing, and aggravate these two men and their supporters to the point where they would really have a genuine reason to not vote for Akufo-Addo?

The only reason that would be supported by their conscience to not vote or campaign for Akufo-Addo is exactly what Akufo-Addo and his henchmen are doing to these two vibrant leaders of the NPP, Afoko and Agyapong and their supporters. It is such blatant attempts by the Akufo-Addo camp to sideline them, and treat them with contempt that would create the genuine cause for them to do less in whatever they are expected to do to help the candidate's cause.

The Akufo-Addo camp is pursuing a self-destructive scheme that would deny the NPP any chance to win in 2016. It should blame itself, and not the former President Kufuor, again, if Akufo-Addo loses in 2016.

8. Incomplete infrastructure projects
9. Collapse of businesses
10. failing Agriculture output
