Is it a crime that Nana Addo is not from the North and that his esteemed father, one of the founders of the modern Nation of Ghana, was a hard working man who was able to provide for his family?

The class stigma that Ras Mubarak wants to attach to Nana Addo also applies to John Dramani Mahama, whose father was a senior functionary (Deputy Minister) in the government of Dr. Nkrumah's CPP back in the 1960s'.

Look, don't be lied to: this economic crisis got Greece bankrupt and the European Union has to rescue it; it got Portugal and Spain to collapse and its oil-rich and mineral-rich former colonies Angola and Cape Verde respectively had to bankroll them. When it hit in the US, it almost went under; many companies had to layoff thousands of employees leading to foreclosure of many mortgages carried by homeowners who had been laid off. It arrived in Italy and it had to be rescued by the EU. At least Ghana is still standing. Tell me, what NEW would the NPP do that the NDC has not yet tried, given all the sophisticated economic advice the country has received from the IMF and many other internal economic consultants who have already worked to save countries like Mozambique, Angola, Morocco, Spain, Portugal, Italy and Greece. They are bluffing Ghanaians to get elected: Mahama is the way to go, let there be no doubt about it. The economic problem that Ghana has, which many other developed countries have failed to survive, is similar to what Rawlings conquered, and I don't believe one bit that the NPP (GIVEN HOW WE SAW THEM UNDER KUFFUOR)can do half of what Mahama has done so far. Make it NDC all the way - to save mother Ghana.

Is John Mahama the Northern boy from Bole as a President, handicapped from using the national purse of the country in addressing their own self-inflicted problems? And is Akufo Addo when he becomes President going to be using his so called economic wealth and privilege to address Ghana's problems from his own resources?
The idiocy of such comments shows how unintelligent and remarkably stupid this Mubarak character is.
The national purse is available to any Ghanaian irrespective of one's status to appropriate it prudently, intelligently, brilliantly, sensibly, effectively, transparently with focus and vision underpinned by the rule of law to address Ghana's problems.
Ghanaians expect any President to use the national purse to bring about the needed development and growth of this country and would not broker any mindless cluelessness and thievery that sends this country back.

Since the day of IEA debate, President Mahama has not been able to make any practical suggestion to solving the country's problems. All that President Mahama will say ''We are already doing it''.
Mahama was the son of a minister in the time of President Nkrumah and also benefited from the largesse of the tax payer.
Whiles President Mahama has not been able to make good choices coupled with deep corruption in his government, Akufo Addo has not be linked with corruption in his public service. Even if he will dabble in corruption, we are yet to record that.
Ras Mubarak should write on a reasonable matter and try to advise his master ''corruption chief'' to solve the power problem to giving unfulfilled promises. For all the criticisms levelled against President Kuffuor we are learning each passing day that he's the best president we've had since the inception of the 4th Republic. He's not an angel but he was able with his administration to lift the nation from the huge economic mess left behind by the NDC,led by its founder Jerry John Rawlings. Even Rawlings who has been uncharacteristically quiet has come out of his political hibernation and in a bare-knuckled attack on his own party's unprecedented corruption he did not mince his words at all. If Mahama was interested in fixing problems he would not over-spend his budget and pave the way for most government agencies to spend several millions of dollars they did not have. Over-spending does not solve problems. It creates more. If Mahama was interested in solving problems he would not have created new ones of his own and he'd have built on where Kuffuor left off. If Mahama was interested in solving problem he would have surrounded himself with well qualified Ghanaians with proven competence and integrity instead of the riff-raffs and party lackeys mostly from his tribe or Northern Ghana where he is from. If Mahama was interested in solving problems he would have made himself president of all ghanaians and not just a section of the population. If Mahama was interested in solving problems he would be listening to what all Ghanaians are saying instead of telling the people "Yentie Obia".

The guy is confused ideologically.From attempts to revamp inefficient and decayed SOEs to calling for privatization and talks about deregulation.Why is he still clinging to the woefully-failed socialist policies of the defunct CPP?
John Mahama was also born with 'a silver foot in his mouth'.His daddy was a minister of state and had 4 cars in those days(from his own account).So both of them were privileged.The difference is that one appears to know what needs to be done to uplift our country,and one is clueless.
It is my fervent hope that Ghanaians will vote him out in 2016.He has bankrupted our country.
