Daily Guide should also go to the Nsawam prisons and interview the many other common thieves there as well. We know that this one is a privileged thief but we are tired of listening to his hypocritical views.

If Tsikata has refused to accept the pardon that former President Kufuor wrongly granted him, then the fact remains that he is still just a common criminal - an ex-convict. And if that is the case, was it normal for the highest court of the land to allow a common criminal or an ex-convict to defend a case in court working as a lawyer, or, was it only on account of his dubious status of high privilege in society which some of his collaborators have accorded him that he was allowed to do so?

Again, is he a member of the Ghana Bar Association? Does the Ghana Bar Association accept ex-convicts and disgraced lawyers as members? If so, does this not flout all known regulations on professional ethics? And lets put aside the shame and disgrace that this puts on our country as a whole, but does this not further demean or lower the professional status of the Ghana Bar Association?

Finally, considering all the concerns Tsikata is hypocritically raising about his legal rights having been side-lined and suppressed and which therefore caused his imprisonment, has he also considered the many thousands of other Ghanaians who suffered from the politically manipulated kangaroo People Courts in the 1980s of which he is known to be the creator and supervisor?

Tsikata should know that history will not forgive him and even, if today there were to be another coup d'etat like the one he was actively involved in with his misbegotten cousin in 79', he would be promptly reduced to mince-meat without any questions so he should just shut up and spare us his double-speak.

Jailing Tsikata was good but so was it for all others in similar circumstances. On the whole, the chief thief Diawuo Kufuor who was the patron of the stealing syndicate he founded using "Zero Tolerance for corruption" as face-washing instrument, should have been the first in jail.

What should be the level of acceptable financial loss to Ghana? Has Ghana's members of parliament not enacted laws, approves national contracts, shirk their duties that has caused Ghana to lose money? Has any president in Ghana not caused financial loss to Ghana? Has the judiciary not enable people to cause financial loss to the nation?

Causing financial loss by design and or willfully may be criminal but causing financial loss in an area of commerce that is unchartered by most Ghanaians is not intentional art of criminality.
We have dumsor in Ghana because every administration that has spent money on electricity can be proven to have caused financial loss to the nation. No administration has provided a blueprint/drawing and or project outline and timeline where each purchase fits into planned enhancement and distribution of electrical power in Ghana. You went to prison after a trial in an open court and still feel hurt and keep on raking our wounds. In a typical PNDC behavior, he forgets about their kangaroo people's court. God will punish all of them.

The good Ashanti AKANS can be found in NDC and other parties and not in Ahanti NPP.
God bless Alhaji Ali Mahama, who was not supported by then Pres. Kufuor, his loyal VP for 8years. What a shame. There aren't many legendary Krobo Edusei's or Nana Agyman's and a few noble others left in Ashanti NPP today.
In this election, character counts. We would and will make sure what characters are out there talking the game of tribal superiority and the like.

Seems this interview was for publicity purposes. Again Tsikata wants to approve of the rot in our electoral system. He seems to accept election fraud! That's rather unfortunate to for him to express that it's all okay when millions of people who watched the court proceeding strongly believed there was massive fraud in the 2012 elections. Interestingly Tsatsu turns around to point out loop holes in our justice system. Hmm! It's so interesting and funny too.

One would have thought that during all his teaching, common sense and a sense of pedagogical curiosity and may be, just may be even professional obligation, would have made him a wee bit curious about conditions in our prisons. If not for his own curiosity sake, at least for his students; for his teaching material, etc. etc. Did it not occur to him once to take a field trip, with some students, to the main prison in Ghana, just for historical perspective, to find out what goes on after people are sentenced? The sad truth is folks like this dude, who is overrated by a ignorant Ghanaians, (book smart as he may be) are simply insincere bullshitters. His whole talk of finding religion makes my skin crawl with him. It just underlies the insincerity and "cleverness for cleverness sake" Yes, he may have been wrongly convicted on a bogus charge, but for Chrissakes, cut out the cant and bullshit. No intelligent folks give a crap.
