When all the past regimes were extending power to villages and towns, I heard no one advising them to augment the power stock by building more power plant. All those making noise today did say nothing, They were all sitting down tight and comfortable. Unless you are also one of the dishonest humans in Ghana, you will blame the president. The embattled Managing Director of Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation, Kingsley Kwame Awuah-Darko has confirmed reports of fraud, impropriety, arm-twisting and extortion at the strategic national asset, resulting in a massive financial loss of Ghc74.41 million in just four years.

Mr. Awuah-Darko indicated the financial loss did not occur under his stewardship but was still in the era of Mills-Mahama administration with Huudu Yahaya as Board Chairman and Dr. Yaw Akoto as Managing Director.

According to him, it was as a result of the gross mismanagement and arm-twisting under the same ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) that he signed an agreement with TSL, a Ghanaian subsidiary of Nigerian-owned firm for it to operate, maintain and manage BOST’s petroleum terminals in the country for a year at a total cost of about $7.2 million

Under the agreement, the contract could be extended to five years at the cost of $7.2 million a year.

In a hurriedly arranged news conference at the Fiesta Royal Hotel in Accra to debunk a story by Vanguard on controversial agreements, alleged corruption and malfeasance leveled against him by BOST workers; Mr. Awuah-Darko evaded the critical issues raised by the paper and ended up heaping all the blame on Huudu Yahaya’s Board and the previous management.

He told journalists that BOST in 2010, made a loss of more than Ghc3.8 million, more than Ghc14.2 million in 2011, over Ghc10.85 million in 2012 and Ghc45.56 million in 2013, all totaling over Ghc74.41 million.

It is very, very important for the celebs and Ghanaians in general to ask John Mahama what he actually means? What is the relationship between dumsor, dumsor and some purported division in our national politics? Does John Mahama even understand the issues or sees the dumsor, dumsor crisis which has brought this country to a screeching halt within the very narrow and parochial prism of petty partisan politics and if that is how John Dramani Mahama sees the crisis surrounding electricity power generation in this country, which has collapsed everything in this country, then what exactly is he doing in office, since the dumsor dumsor under his watch has become a national crisis? Where is the leadership? Does John Mahama understand his job at the Presidency?
If there was any doubt in anybody's mind about voting out this highly ineffective, do nothing, achieve nothing, thieving Mahama-led NDC govt, this is one more incentive and motivation to massively boot out this NDC govt at the ballot box.

NDC have no sense and they will let Ghanaians understand that dumso is happening because if the power demand rate at an alarming 12% per annum.

With the rate of demand GHANA must build power plants that far exceeds the status quo. But what ignorant actresses and most Ghanaians don't know is the money situation.

Cocoa price is down. Gold is down and oil is down so what is happening then? Lowered revenue that's why JM administration has to run to IMF with cup in hand.

Do actresses like Yvonne pay taxes? Apart from the formal sector Are Ghanaians paying enough taxes to making demands?

Ignorance is really a problem here in this land. Ghanaians can help their situation by cutting back on energy use but are they doing that? No. Why? Ignorance.
