Before the sentence, the judge should have asked for the mental evaluation of the guy, seek treatment for him before the sentence.

If Dr Danaa, who holds a PhD, could think this way then university education is useless in Ghana. If people of his caliber are leading Ghanaians then, I am afraid, we shall soon fall into a ditch.
Who asked Dr Danaa to take sides in a chieftaincy dispute by solely declaring the chieftaincy status of the Americans illegal. Who sent the National Security Officials to go and harass the Americans. We all know the National Security Zombis like operating under the cover of darkness( you remember the Legon Toll Booth Saga) and their hatred for dogs is unimaginable( you remember NS official threatened to shoot and kill the dogs of the software designer of UG students' election). So if the dogs of the two American citizens were killed prior to their gruesome murder you can now see those behind the killing.

Not more than 2 weeks ago,I made a comment through this channel that, I have observed that,Prosecution in the Country need to improved on the number of Charges/Counts to reflect real Justice in such cases of rape etc
I have known this by the privilege of being in America.For what is 10 yrs imprisonment for a self confessed pedophilia who abused two innocent Kids with pitiful sexual degradation and molestations, to endanger their welfare.The misapplication of trusts by this wicked Teacher who subjected the victims to disgusting and unimaginable acts,to defiled them at the soft age of 8 and 10 yrs is uncalled for.Is the Self confessions that "young girls was his problem",not enough indication to suggest beyond any reasonable doubt that, Teacher Acheampong could be dangerous to Sch Children in particular,and Society in general, must be kept away for more than 40 years in prison and not to run co-currently ?.
Therefore,I think the Kids(victims) were denied real Justice, in my personal opinion.The verdict is respected,though. Throughout history since Adam, mankind have had improvement to better his existence whenever mankind was able to identify shortcomings of decision or invention to improved on it.So,some of us would continue to comment on legal technicalities in favour of culprits.
That is the way towards innovations/ improvements,and the way forward.
