  I thought they would begin by praising the man Afari Djan for his impartially conduct of elections in this country which has seen power transferred peacefully twice to the opposition party. That is a remarkable achievement in our part of the world and this should be applauded and and acknowledged.
  Elections are won at the ballot box and not by clever calculations in court. No election is perfect so we learn to concede when we lose elections which are fairly conducted.That is what will deepen our democracy. Unjustifiable protracted court cases have adverse consequences for our economy
