  The MD and the Board chairman are all from the Volta Region. Recruitment since 2009 when Steve Kpordzih was appointed has been ewe-based=99%. The other tribes feel marginalized n loans are skewed towards staff from the Volta Region at the expense of other tribes. Steve Kpordzih and thhe BOD have sold all landed properties to themselves and given lonas and overdrafts to cronies without due process. These are the issues BNI must focus on and not following the so called top mgt member. The owner of the informer is a follow ewe and diverting issues so the the BNI will not go after the MD and the Bod. The must be a forensic audit of adb from 2009 to date. The MD and the BOD must be interdicted and dissolved to pave way for a fair investigation.

  Since 2009 when Steve Kpordzih was appointed without any experience of managing a bank not even a savings n loans institution, the fortunes of the bank has worsened in all financial ratios. From the rank of 5 in the industry the bank now ranks at 28th. Capital adequacy , liquidity, Earnings on assets etc. have all gone worse. Steve Kpordzih is non performing just like the loans and overdrafts to his cronies without credible business plans. A look at the top non performing loans and overdrafts are scaring. One wonders what the Bank of Ghana as a regulator will sit down for the bank to be run down by the MD and the Board????? How can a board member be given a personal loan of Ghc400,000.00 (C4 billion old cedis) payable over 5 years?? whilst staff are denied just Ghc5,000.00 personal loan for surgical operations?

The MD and the board are just amassing state wealth and running down the bank like Merchant Bank. adb=massive fishy deals and corruption of gargantuan proportion and the workers have all the evidences.

What was the track record of the MD before his appointment? Compare the profitability records of ADB & Stanbic 5 years ago and today. Any business minded shareholder would fire this MD one time.

  Only NDC govt will maintain such a clueless and incompetent MD. Steve Kpordzih has no managerial track record before his appointment as MD of adb. He was even sacked from Stanbic for non performing as a relationship manager. All his customers defaulted in their loans and overdrafts facilities he recommended. He took adb from 5th ranking and now adb is at 28th rank. Savings and loans companies like Biege Capital and Union Savings and Loans are performing far better than adb with its visibility and over 80 branches under Kpordzih and his incompetent cronies management and corrupt board of directors. The Human Resource Executive Head had 1 and 1/2 years working experience in a Hotel before she was poached by the MD all because of 'tonga'. The Retail Executive Head and his cousin, the Operational Rigour Manager, Executive Head-Credit and Treasurer were 'given' the positions because the MD had previously worked with them at Barclays Bank doing clearing and blood relationship with the MD. These management do not add any value to adb in any way at the expense of competent and experience staff.

Steve Kpordzih was sack from Stanbic for non performance and won a court case for wrong dismissal against Stanbic. Steve Kpordzih has no track record of managing a bank not even a savings and loans company. Steve Kpordzih was a lecturer/consultant at Banking College when he was appointed by Prof. Mils as MD. Steve Kpordzih lack of managerial accumen and lack of banking analysis manifested clearly when he recruited a hotelier to be the HR Executive of a bank without any prior experience in managing human resources banking all because of 'tonga'. The HR Executive is a laughing stock among the adb staff. She is a completely round hole in square pegs=misfit in adb. Steve Kpordzih just imported his cronies and relatives from Barclays Bank without the requisite banking experience. All his managerial executives are not adding any value to adb. Steve Kpordzih put them on a higher salary scales above more qualified existing staff in adb. Staff loans are skewed to his cronies. Steve Kpordzih has mismanaged adb and must be removed immediately. Steve Kpordizh took adb from 5th rank in 2009 to 28th in less than 6 years. Any appraisal of Steve Kpordzih will lead to immediate dismissal. He has bought he board of directors by giving them unwarranted loans to silence them. How can any MD go to the stock exchange for Ghc200million whilst e unrecovered loans is over Ghc600million???????. The Board should have ask the MD to go and collect the loans to cronies.

  The obvious incompetency of the Informer is not the only sin of that toilet-paper which is erroneously described as a newspaper. Even worse still, is their obvious intent to muddy the waters when NDC functionaries are caught red-handed in one kind of scam or the other which are now pervasive.
  
  It seems that this is the real reason why almost all of the NDC newspapers were established. There is not one single pro-NDC media organization that one can read or tune-into without being served with this kind of nonsense that seeks to cover-up or brazenly defend the many sins of the NDC govt.
  
  Concerning the rubbish article by the (mis)Informer above, I want to ask if it is now an offense for workers and officials to discuss or share information on matters concerning state institutions such as the ADB? Why is the BNI clandestinely pursuing officials of the bank to find out what they are up to? If the bank did not have anything to hide, why has it become necessary for them to flagrantly misuse the BNI - obviously with the collaboration of govt, to follow and shamefully spy on Ghanaians, thereby curtailing their civil liberties?

The other day it was another childish funny story of a customer indebted to the bank who was behind the agitation. We know more funny cooked up stories will come up, because we know huge amounts of monies are being paid to the press to churn out such unintelligent stories. Just go talk to the staff and you will see the hell on earth in which they are living!!
