The lawyer representing this group has failed them. First, you came out with the University of Ghana as the venue and the authorities denied you the use of their facility, that should tell you that you cannot use anybody's facility without first getting permission.

You then announced a second venue making the same mistake without getting permission to use that facility.

Now a good cause has become a joke but Yvonne, Sarkodie, Lydia and others should not be discouraged. They have already shined light on the dumsor menace.

Sarpong, the Mahama-led NDC government has no business practicing dictatorship because we uphold and cherish in high esteem the dictate of our constitution as enshrined. So, even if Mahama should try, he will fail miserable before the majority of his own party folks.

Yet again, the government is not in any attempt to prevent or sabotage anyone from speaking up his or her mind out there as the constitution once again stipulates. We are in a democracy and not some Nkrumahism or Buga-Buga military rule any longer. A lot of insults is being heaped on Mahama daily, yet I don't see anybody being bullied or going to prison for that or do you?

Now, Yvonne, Sarkodie and the rest have plenty of places to vigil out there so-called #dumsormuststop, why all the nonsense? Even a phone call away to Kennedy Agyapong and many others could have saved them all these brouhaha of lies over some government calculative sabotage. We are no more political babies, people!

You want to have a vigil? Reflect on the timing and ensure you dont have a conflict with Ga state. Next secure a place before you even talked to the Police. The Police were stupid to grant permission without being sure of the security implications of the venue.

Take your troubles elsewhere and not in the heartland of the GA,S. Why did the Ga Traditional Council choose to do the dirty works of the government by getting into the fray in the fist place. Did they not know Legon lands the Airport, Tetteh Quarshie areas, where the event was going to take place, do not fall under their jurisdiction? If anyone has shown disrespect for Ga tradition I am sorry to say it is the Ga elders who were most probably deceived to attempt to stop the vigil by the Celebrities. I had wished the Ga Traditional Council were in place in 2012, when late President Mills was buried at Osu during the celebration of Homomwo. Is is not considered a taboo to bury the dead during such festival period?

The dumso issue is a systemic issue that has peaked in the JM era due to lack of building power projects in the past 12 years though the power demand ratio is 12%.

The past governments have not managed power growth well and the growth has caught up with us. There are three projects ongoing that can produce 450MW but they are allowing to be done by end of 2015 according to project plan.

JM administration must educate Ghanaians on the power problem and stop the arrogance. It is the ignorance of Ghanaians is what is causing all the confusion
