  Gov't is also right in pointing to the lack of forward planning and investment by previous administrations which have come to a head.
  
  President MAHAMA has said that he looks to long-term solutions to this problem rather than short-term fixes. We call on him to expedite action, in the knowledge that it takes time for projects to materialise.
  
  Thermal plants are being readied to utilise gas from Jubilee fields and Nigeria to produce energy. Solar plants are being built. Hopefully with the onset of the rainy season, water levels of the the Volta river will rise enabling Akosombo, Bui and Kpone to produce more energy.
  
  Bishop, pray for wisdom and guidance for our leaders, and check your facts before making unhelpful public pronouncements.

  It is really sad people like Sankofa still talks so much buy don't have any evidence. ok go on, bring documented prove of all that you are talking about.And when are all these projects going to materialise.What the Bishop said is what has transpired previously must not be a hinderance to the current government fixing this problem. I mean there are millions of problems now in Ghana and the government really lacks the know how to bring a halt to these issues.So be respectful to the Bishop and stop your unworthy comment.
