Be very worried, if this is how Akufo-Addo is going to play our foreign policies. Now, just so you know, as much unlikely as it may seem, if others gang up on him, NPP could win the Parliamentary Votes but Nana might lose the Presidential Votes. Have you ever considered that even remotely, or you don't see that possibility in our Constitution?

Just sit there sucking your thumbs. Anything is possible.

Nana Addo knows very well and good that some excutives are calling for the head of Madusa.It didn't start today,there is Nana Addo's faction and Kuffour's faction in NPP and each is trying to undo the other.Granted,we have factions in every political party but as soon as you are elected the flagbearer,it's your sole responsibility to unite all members for the battle ahead.Honestly,as I speak now,there is a serious scheming in all the constituencies.MP aspirants do win depending on factions,this is the main reason why there is no peace in the party.Finally,Nana Addo himself is head of one faction so who are you going to blame?In my opinion,he has not acted swiftly to quench the fire or he is putting more petrol into it.
Afoko and Kwebena have been attacked several times and we have never heard a word from Nana Addo,why?This is just the surface and many executives have made lot of negative statements in public yet Nana Addo did not say anything.I think Arthur Kennedy is not far from the truth to state that Nana Addo is intolerant and is behind the scene.Now listen,Ghanaians don't simply want a strong and competent leader,what we want first is national unity and peace above all.We are not seeing that in Nana Addo's style of leadership.He should remember that Ghana is not Ivory Coast or Nigeria,we have our own destiny.Besides,we want to know what Nana Addo himself can do but not continues reference to different personalities who have nothing to do with the coming general elections.My conclusion is that,I am not impressed an inch about Nana's strategy.The earlier he changes his campaign strategy the better.Thank you.

"Private legal practitioner, Samson Lardy Anyenini late last year brought a suit on behalf of the leaders and against the Chieftaincy Minister whom they alleged had supported one Osofo to mistreat them using national security.

The Osofo was named in the suit as claiming right to the symbolic stool and skin created by the national house of chiefs to reintegrate disaporians.

Samson says that suit was withdrawn earlier this year after the Attorney-General (A-G) called for an amicable settlement."
The question is if the government has declared the status of the US citizens as an illegality, why did the Attorney General beg that the issue should be withdrawn from court. The answer is simple. Withdraw the case, kill the Afro Americans and case die.

Alhassana Ouatarra and his supporters were told in the face that that they were "aliens" in Ivory Coast and were being prevented from registering to vote in that country's notorious "Ivorien" project. The President himself was being barred from contesting because they claim he was a Burkinabe! Someone who had been Vice President under Huphuet Boigne for several years. So Nana Addo and NPP should better draw useful lessons from Ouatarra of Ivory Coast. Here in Ghana it is the NPP and its leaders especially Nana Addo (excluding Kuffour) who insist some Ghanaians are aliens,from Togo, from Burkina Fasso, not educated, herdsmen, etc. In fact in 1970, the PP Govt under Busia engaged in a similar exercise and chased away our brothers and sisters from Nigeria, Niger, Togo, Mali, Burkina Fasso and Benin. You see how the Ivorians also plunged their country into needless war in their ethnic cleansing under an "alien" has come to rescue them. Please Nana Addo don't rush to put yourself in a boat that you don't fit into, you would drown.

If we put together the ideas that the NPP chose the Elephant as the symbol of the Party, Akufo-Addo's blatant courtship with the Republican Party in the USA, his not-so-secret conference with the Tories in the UK and this meeting with the Christian Democratic Union or CDU of Germany, which the NPP calls a sister Party, Ghanaians need to worry who really Akufo-Addo would be truly representing as a President, should he ever become one.

It is most unwise for any Party in Ghana to so exclusively associate itself with any particular Parties in Foreign Countries. What then should we expect to be the relationship between a NPP Administration and any Government that would emerge in those Countries from different Parties than those the NPP associate with?

I think this Akufo-Addo foreign policy initiative should be a signal of what Ghanaians should expect of his Presidency. It is most parochial, self-serving for personal aggrandizement as being a staunch hawkish Republican like those we know in the USA, for example, and does not hold any promise for the down-trodden and poor in Ghana.

Ironically, these foreign Parties Akufo-Addo is pandering to are the Parties that are notoriously linked with the intolerance of minorities in their respective Countries. So, with all his "Yen Akanfo de" rhetoric, how wouldn't the average open-minded, discerning Ghanaian be worried of Akufo-Addo's inclination to bigotry? He gave us some dubious explanation to justify his ethnically divisive rhetoric when it started receiving harsh criticisms, and recently, was reported to have shown a 'mia culpa' for that.

Now, we should know where he gets his inspiration for such dangerous rhetoric and mantra from. Those, I strongly believe, are the true reflections of his inner beliefs and he does not seem ready to abandon yet.

If these foreign Parties are the only Akufo-Addo could see any virtues in to copy for NPP, then Ghanaians must understand that Nana's is subconsciously steeped in bigotry, and could therefore, logically, seek support in such Parties that have serious checkered recent Historical past regarding how they treat minorities and the poor.

We should not forget that it was under Reagan, Thatcher and Helmut Smith that stringent clamping-down on minorities and various Welfare and Civil Right programs began in the West. No wonder the current Republican radical Conservatives, known for their veiled racist treatment of African-Americans and Hispanics, have sought to make Reagan their modern hero, while presently demonizing President Barack Obama, and aggressively trying to reverse all the voting rights of minorities through various schemes.

To these Republicans, President Obama ascent to the Presidency was a huge mistake that they have been doing all they can to let him fail. They silently regard the USA Presidency as an exclusive position for their kind only. And they would even deny President Obama support for the very programs they had initiated and he had championed for successful legislation on. Much of the 'compassionate conservatism' that the Bushs attempted to plant in the Republican Party has come under gruesome assault by most of these Republicans. In a gist, their goals culminate in the further restrictions on the minorities to escape poverty and have the opportunity to share in the American Dream. These Republicans have the eloquence to hide their ulterior motives behind benign verbiage, and have over the recent years, even succeeded in turning progressive, hopeful words in modern Politics into scary terms all tend to run away from. Take a few like "Liberal" and "Affirmative Action". They have imposed the meaning of "Reverse Discrimination" on "Affirmative Action" to cause the dismantling of many of the programs under that "Affirmative Action" bore to enable the very disadvantaged have any chance to compete fairly along the line with all others. They employ the Evangelical Christian's uncompromising allegiance to Christ and prophetic re-emergence of Israel's political power to coopt all intentions to seek accommodation with those with diverse beliefs and political opinions.

But when I last checked, these very Republicans were those who hated the Jews, along with the African-Americans, and resisted any integration of the Society with them. Now, the command of massive Wealth by the Jewish Communities in the West, especially America, through their hardworking ethics and determination, among other factors, seem to have earned them more acceptability by these hawkish, radical Conservatives, than offered the African-Americans and other minorities. They have resorted to Faith-based Politics to divide the USA very steeply.

Their close Political Parties are not those foreign Parties Ghanaians must exclusively seek real political and economic salvation in for our ultimate advancement. We should truly show a neutral affinity for the Political Parties abroad, even as we strengthen our national ties with their Governments.

While we must be wary of these Republicans, for example, we still must keep enough open-mind to maintain normal, healthy relations with a Government that they might, by majority, form but we must not sell our soul to them like NPP flagbearer is seen doing, now. This attitude of Nana Akufo-Addo's indicates his shallowness in modern International Relations. He might not have learnt anything new and enhancing lessons as Ghana's Foreign Minister under the last NPP Administration.

A word to the wise is enough!!
