In 1989, the so-called “Washington Consensus” was formulated. It claimed to lead to global freedom, prosperity and economic growth through “deregulation, liberalization and privatization”. It is about time this govt is made to resign since they can't manage even a table top tomato business at Makola.
No where would this state of affairs be tolerated.
As a govt which has failed and knows it has failed, it should be looking at resigning so competent hands can step up and deliver instead of this crass mis-governance of unprecedented proportions ever to be witnessed in the history of this country and by far the worst ever.

They should ask Malaysians and Singaporeans, if their countries which have become reference points for us in measuring our development, whether they did not suffer pains to be where they are today. I am sorry I see no development in Ghana if we continue to behave like this. Let us face realities of life. Are we not being told that the present problem was telegraphed to us long ago when declined to pay for high tariff ?
