The problem now is that the supporters of the flagbearer are always finding reasons to prevent Afoko and Agyepong working for the party. The regional chairmen are behaving the way the party as a whole behaves towards the government. That the President should always consult them before doing his job. This reminds me of the late Alhaji Abu Jaja, one time NDC ward chairman of Sekondi/Takoradi constituency who, was dozed with acid and fire by npp supporters, killing him just because, first, he is a northerner and second for being a member of the ndc. The party promised to take care of his children who were very young at the time. I can only hope they are being taken care of. This barbaric type of politics is ingrained in the blood of this tribal npp party.But what beats my imaginations is the fact that,even though my brothers and sisters from the north are not regarded human beings by these Asante/Akyem tribal party, they still continue to kill themselves to please them.When will they learn sense? Even recent events as to what they are taking Afoko through,even before and during the elections and now, should give them cause to reason. So is it far from true that,all the letters written against Afoko before the elections were the work of known faces. We have not forgotten how Kufour dumped his trusted and honest vice president and fully endorsed his relative for the presidential slot. Why are the notherners fooling themselves like this? I smell NDC all over it. It was the same thing they did to the NPP guy in Techiman who is now standing for MP in Techiman North constituency. He had to undergo intensive plastic and reconsteuctive surgery in Germany after he was attacked by NDC hoodlums.
There have been a series of high profile killings under the Woyongo-Agalga-led Interior Min and it has become one too many. It would be recalled members of OccupyGhana also expressed fears about threats on their life all happening under the Woyongo-Agalga-led Interior Min.
This is clearly political assassination of the Upper East Regional Chairman Mahama Adam by the NDC after the embarrassing performance of John Mahama at the Ecowas summit and also to perpetuate the narrative of an internecine fracas between some so called camps in the NPP.
This is the handiwork of NDC, period.
