Mr. Yaw Osei Owusu, an elder of the party in the Kwabre East Constituency in the Ashanti Region has lashed out at the Presidential Candidate of the NPP, Nana Akufo-Addo for deepening factionalism in the party by introducing ‘they’ and ‘them’ through his henchmen within the party.

In an interview with Breeze FM, he stated that, “these sad developments are not good for the image of our party. I want to ask Nana Akufo Addo, if you cannot work with your National Chairman and General-Secretary within your own party, how can you work with the rest of Ghanaians who did not support you if you become President?”
He cautioned Nana Akufo Addo to show leadership and magnanimity and engage in activities that will bring the party together rather than the things that will divide and create unnecessary tension within the party.
He however observed that, if this trend continues, the NPP must forget about the 2016 elections which are some 18 months away.
Reading the above comments coming from an elder should open your eyes,anyway it's your choice just as the other dude prefers dumsor than acidification.

Agya Agyapong, don't get this wrong: People are asking you and Afoko to RESIGN your post as the General Secretary and chairman of the NPP, respectively, but not resigning from the party, as a whole, you damn Negro and what part don’t you understand at this point?!!

The reasons for this serious request are basically twofold:

1) That the two of you are running down the party with your combined unbridled management style of people, resources and party issues; and

2) Your arrogance, disrespectfulness of both old and young and divisiveness within the party (the Akyem Mafia vs. Ashanti cabal and the other Mumbo Jumbo factions)—whether your ass started this or not—it will be better for both of you, and the NPP, for you guys to bow out gracefully, rather than be FORCED out of office.

Lastly, I guess the NPP is at a cross-roads now and would require a high level of wisdom, patience, tactfulness to resolve this by throwing out the power struggle cartridge, petty jealousy and envy to save the party, but who will bear the cross for that—Kufuor or Akufo-Addo?? Your guess may be better than mine!!

I strongly believe in the liberal interpretation of the democratic political discourse- the give and take and then the compromise of ideas-
but what I see and read on these pages and hear on YouTube by some card carrying members of NPP is not only unhealthy it borders on sabotage.

For love of self and country I plead to the grown-ups in the NPP to show their age and come to the rescue of Pan Africans hope of a shinning city on a hill.

Failure would not be an option. For,it would just would cede the fortunes of a once great nation to those with the brains of grasshoppers.
