There is never going to be a time when the cedi/dollar parity will remain constant no matter how many zeros we take out.

Stop blaming the government for what is happening to our cedi relative to the dollar.

NO GOVERNMENT IN GHANA IS GOING TO BE ABLE TO MAINTAIN A STABLE CEDI/DOLLAR PARITY. There are too many forces acting on all strong currencies the world over and Ghana is no exception.

Right from the point afoko and agyapong showed interest in contesting their positions, opposition was strong against them from nana's supporters. All attempts were made to disqualify these two but failed and they were elected. From then their opposition has been scheming to blackmail n sideline them and in all these the leader, nana addo sits and watch pretending not to notice what was going on. As a leader you cannot take a neutral stance. There is no such thing for any leader, logic tells one that all these happenings have always been in his favour so he supports it because as leader and the "strong person" as he is, he would have reined in the detractors of his own two national executives. Today what the lawlessness he has sanctioned by his silence has grown into a monster, and his side been the unfortunate victim want to claim innocence in the whole scheme.

The main object of the NPP is to win the presidency, period. Akuffo Addo believes Afoko and Agyepong cannot be part of his "winning" team. True or not, Nana must be allowed to put together his perceived "winning" team.

The main object of the NPP is to win the presidency, period. Akuffo Addo believes Afoko and Agyepong cannot be part of his "winning" team. True or not, Nana must be allowed to put together his perceived "winning" team.

Furthermore, Afoko and Agyepong have lost, at least, 60 percent of the support in the NPP. Contrary to Baako's assertion, I believe there is very little time for Afoko and Agyepong to mend the needed fences. Stepping aside will not only cool tempers, but afford the party the greatest opportunity to positively refocus and attend single-mindedly to winning the top office.

Believe it or not, this will also put Agyepong and Afoko in "favorable" standing within the party and nationally, regardless of the Adam Mahama assassination investigation. It is not a matter of who is right or wrong; it is a matter of what is best for the party. As it stands at the moment, losing Agyepong and Afoko will not be as disastrous to the party as losing Akuffo Addo.
