Afriyie Ankrah looted and upon uttering the famous words "open sesame" in the story of Ali Baba and the 40 thieves, he was gleefully welcomed into the grotto of Ghana's economic collapse, described by Prof. Amoako as the den of criminals.
Adu Asare is also in there so it's no surprise he's defending Mahama Ayariga.
Besides the record is clear. The Mahama-led NDC gov't is thieving the resources of the state and the evidence is there to support this position.
The Supreme Court has given it's verdict of a number of such cases, and incidentally, a former Attorney General Martin Alamisi Benz Kaiser Amidu-Citizen Vigilante was forcefully shoved out, when he suffered a bout of consciousness and resolved to stem the tide of wanton thievery by the Mahama-led NDC gov't. It never happened and today, Ghana is in a financial and economic catastrophe and chaos. So what is Adu Asare going on about?

Whilst he is at it he should kindly explain to us whether at the Mahama funeral on what agenda item did the Regional Chairman tell him they were going to meet, that he found impoertant enough to convey their wish to the National Chairman. Was it not the step aside agenda, and what did he advise them to do on that as a celebrated lawyer and politician. Why di he not go to the funeral to make peace and speak on the behalf of his two National Executives who were no where near the murder but were being openly and publicly accused of being responsible, did he find those accusations logical and legally resprehensible. His silence on olnly the illegalities and inscipline to date including the sacking of the National HQ, which he truimphantly went to inspect without condemning the voilent manner in which his loyalist personal army (Invisibles) has been interpreted as tacit consent. Is this the man who was accusing JJ of establishing a private army (the Commandos, later 64 Battalion), when he wins or loses the election what will he do with his visible and invisibale forces.

Again,the request by late Mahama family for the NPP Party to expelled collaborators from the Party is a humble demand ; but no one could be used as Scapegoats, based on hearsay/rumours,gossips,and emotions etc,without the person/ persons being cited in conclusive Police report beyond any reasonable doubt. I am at a loss for words to realize once again how Nana Akufo-Addo is always late in doing the right thing to ensure his own success in achieving his lifelong ambition to be the Nation's President.

Why didn't he promptly go to the Media to call for the evacuation of his thugs that chose to bar Afoko and Agyepong from the HQs, as soon as the group took over the premise?

Was it Nana's way to show how much clout he could command in the NPP to harass the two Officials? Or, he just wanted to have the opportunity to claim a harder effort by him to mediate for the group's withdrawal?

This is the kind of tardiness in showing real leadership that many of us have long noticed in Akufo-Addo as a trait that is killing his Presidential aspirations. It is the same lack of initiative that caused the deepening of the current crisis in the Party.

If he had appealed to the group to disperse soon after they took over the Offices, they would have done so. He just wanted them to hang around there much longer. That raises the suspicion that he, himself, might be behind all that disruptive angst against Afoko and Agyepong, all along.
