Honorable individuals should close ranks first with the Akans otherwise their potential is only wasted.It is clear to us the strategy of constant mismanagement that causes time consuming distractions and disorganization.Just see the legacy of this Pepeni/ayigbe menace of a govt. all you need to do is to go to the Tema motorway and observe how these idiots drive . You will see trucks on the inner fast lane going at 15 miles an hour and dont care that this offensive driving is causing traffic behind them.The pepeni aboaba pepeni IGP is not concerned to send dispatch riders to fine these irresponsible drivers and bring order as the whole country is in disorder with the dumsor.Its time to form alliances against this political/oligarchy mafia that seem to stop at nothing to stay in power and be vigilant against these spies and infiltrators with their wicked agenda. They hype themselves up with statements that are intended to make everything Akan bad , we see this with even JJ taking the swipe with unfair destructive critisms whenever he can at murdered Atta Mills. Their envy , skinpain and irrational hate of the Akans is fueled by their selfish greed and corruption . This hate impulse has infected the unsuspecting non Akans and even put a guilt complex mentality on some of the Akans in the south. The underground subliminal propaganda and behind the scenes mouth to ear dissemination of tis anti Akan agenda has a stranglehold on the country ensuring we shall never develop and will not have freedom or justice without a war or shedding blood. NPP seems to be in turmoil but we know what the real deal is so dont give a damn. We know about these election rigging organizations and their strategy of creating scandals that lead to justification of them being able to electronically massage the figures in any country . Do not be swayed by these fabrications but remain true to the cause of ultimate freedom for the Akans . A whole sitting president was murdered but because he was Akan such an uproar and outcry we did not see as we are now witnessing with this acid attack . See the way the ndc media is trying to spin things so it appears that there is no alternative but them. The problem with Ghanaians is that, even when times are good they are unable to identify. Typical example is during Mills administration (2010/2011) when macro-economic measures produced unprecedented 8% inflation and 11% growth, Ghanaians called President Mills slow, even when he was encouraged them to open their eyes, remember? This gov't will pass and the next gov't will go through the same cycle. Do you not believe it?

At this point I am more interested in any leader who has the courage to come out and spell their vision on how to bring Ghana out of this quagmire on pennies and cents. I am not interested those who'll come out and pronounce "social interventions" without clear sense of how to pay for them and make them sustainable on long term basis. We should grow out of that.

Although the country is not yet out of the woods as inflation continue to climb with its attendant increase in prices of goods and services and a depreciating currency among others, the Finance Minister has within almost the two and half years in office, astutely managed to chalk impressive economic successes in the midst of difficulties.

With regards to protecting assets I feel he is doing a good job implementing the financial controls needed to stop the woyome and alumfem type projects. When it comes to growth, to be fair the bank of Ghana as well as the other ministers have to be held more responsible for the poor growth within the economy. The finance minister's job is to ensure we can can finance projects which develop the economy in the most efficient manner. Infrastructural projects like power, roads and other projects which are the drivers of growth is not under finance ministry but transport, energy, trade etc. The BOG should be bringing in monetary policies which controls at least in the short term exchange rates and inflation to help with stability.
The other half of the finance minister role can only therefore be measured effectively if only all the other stakeholders are doing their job well but are being frustrated by the finance minister. There's no evidence to suggest that at the moment so my personal conclusion is Terpker's performance is not bad, but results are clearly poor but who is to be blamed for such a poor economy. Let's look in the direction of mahama, Roy afriyie ankra, pelpuo, aboakwa and all the other chopping brigade

Where did the $14B they received from oil in the last 4 years go? LOOTED & SHARED. Between Jan 1 2015 and March 31 2015 our debt portfolio increased from GHC 76B to GHC 88 B cedis? 16% increase in 3 months.

There is no noticeable improved infrastructure in the country for all these loans. And any improvements we see are at costs that cannot be justified, for example, the Kumasi Airport costs over 20 million. A transparent govt will lay the facts bare for all to see, but of course if you area a LOOT AND SHARE govt then you will engage your propaganda boys to go on the radio stations to throw dust in people’s eyes as you have done with dumsor. You have been left off the hook, because the NPP that is supposed to be raising these issues are tearing themselves apart because of selfishness and arrogance at the top.

This govt’s economic record is recklessness, reminiscent of drunken soldiers and not a govt. For the NDC gov’t to congratulate each other is an insult to Ghanaians. If Ghana was a business we would be bankrupt and laying off employees

The devaluation of the Ghana Cedi, higher interest payments due on both domestic and foreign loans,poor public budget and expenditure performance, official corruption, inflated projects costs; increased inflation, escalation of fuel, and utility prices explain the poor performance of the GHANA economy now. How can the economy achieve those projected growth figures when the economic fundamentals remain unchanged and whacky ? It will take the uninformed to believe in the economic growth data spewed out by the Finance Ministry. Ghanaians have no confidence in the ever changing economic data that are spewed out by the Finance ministry and the Ghana Statistical Services that are always out of touch with reality on the ground. The spurious economic data and growth projections do more harm than good to mother Ghana. A case in point is the spurious economic data that landed GHANA IN THE MIDDLE INCOME GROUP which was lauded by NDC without realising the implications of the false graduation into that club. The hen has actually come home to roost with those spurious published economic data. Ghanaians are skeptical of economic data that are published by this government.

Can Bature go and ask Terkper what it means when yields on two bonds raised so far are under-subscribed in the context of confidence in the economy by investors, the prospects of the economy in the medium term and the general health of the economy and come back and write what Terkper told him and the explanation.
Because it doesn't look like Terkper and Bature and John Mahama have a good read on the dynamics of the economy and it is apparent that has contributed rather significantly to the worthlessness of the local currency and the general, unhealthy, all over the place, nature of the economy.
